Guys these matters are delicate, and should only be faced as such. I can also go out and say i have seen that, called that, or seen a flying Ouroboros and, who knows, it might be true!
There are some facts as to the nature of what is really happening out there and that is that both hardcore-elitists, (call em what you like) are opossed to what fractals is about, as well as many casual players. The exact same difference exists though.
While one cannot disagree that this is increasing the rudeness of people, crushes all the “friendly community game” we were seing on betas and so much more, one also has to see the positive side. Its new content and its super cool!
Ascended is not that much more poweful that exotic, and not bringin any kind of equipment gaps between people neither in wvw nor pve.
My personal thought is that if someone wants the best gear in wvw, he better not be a casual, as (as i think it at least) it seems epicly strange to have cheapish-easy to get gear at competitive play! Wvw has other uses for people with low-end equipment,lvl,etc.
As for the pve, being a player who got to lvl20 pug only, i also have my share of bad-frustrating stories to share. BUT HEY, my friends list is that much richer and in my block list i have people i would never have wanted to party not in this dungeon nor any other! In short, that speaks of social progression to me!!
There are just so many faces on so many different sides, each with its own twist!
My overall feeling is happiness and all those positive feelings that come when you do new stuff in a game, and i wish it would have been the same for all of you guys….
Just make some constructive posts, and anet is sure to examine them and plan accordinly on thoughts and ideas..!

this whole infusion thingy is kinda confusing…or i am confused and just dont know it.
i mean, you can make “infused” an ascended item without consuming the infusion slot, so it gives more agony resistance passively. the recipe though, requires condensed mist essence. Does that mean that one can further infuse an item using crystallized mists, or does the item cycle of upgrade ends the first time you infuse it?
also, regarding infusion slots, do they work like other slots or are the different infusions one might put into permanent?

this is a very, very negative collection of posts. and one should agree that, in the end (and as many have already said) gw2 hasnt so far been “the change”. But i sure as hell still believe they are so far closer to it than everyone else!!!!
Keep believin guys!! i understand you all, heck, if everything was fine i too wouldnt be here but in the game, playing but one can only wait…and be positive!

you should check how infuriated parties are where people disconnect in fractals!

when you get the boss at lowest health possible it drops a hammer, even though it does not die before the seal is out. so you’d just have to nuke it to no health to get an additional hammer ;p

the agony that acompanies the fractals takes off percentages of health.
sustaining that is not really up to the level of the character but up to the ability.
i have had runs with low lvls that were far easier than exotic gear ones.
i also heard that difficulty 1 (that seemed like a joke to me) was hard for many!!!

i guess it all comes down to brainz…

i have been outbidding for one copper on buy offers for as long as i can remember, and i am surely not the only one! :O

there is a great number of bags that drop on fractals per person, and if i were to judge from my friendlist i’d say that you can think each and every person is there and farming em

too annoying-frustrating and not to metion dissapearing hammers with a 3 man group on the last part of the colossus map. my fun ended there, not gonna bother anymore until joiner gets fixed.

of course the best answer would be that you had to do some research mate on how the tp works if you wanted to sell any item having a listing fee way bigger than all your gold together…!

market prices are almost back to when they were when bots werent there….that was…unexpected!!
But dont mistake me, this is GREAT!!!

We had a nice party, going smoothly on path 2 explo. When we arrived on the last boss fight, lag appeared that made the fight kinda hard. At one point (for me at least) everyone stood still like i was about to get disconnected. But chat WORKED!!!!
It logged me out after about 5 minutes and didnt let me log on the same character again (i was able to log on alts though). After about 30mins. i am able to log back onto my main, see the place deserted, myself dead, the party brocken-offline and the dungeon reset.

Its not like i am gonna rage about another dungeon run that didnt complete just before the end but….
Somewhere along the lines of fighting lag while internet connection is ok. Somewhere along semi-frozen client and about not being able to get back to your character as infinite loading screens appeared…and that was happening for half an hour….!

It starts with hope to get credit for dungeon run, continues with frustration to not being able to even log to main char and ends with some damaged armor…..

the mad king chances are just crazy!!
i have got none of the 3 halloween weaps after 60+runs.
my friend got crossing on 2nd run and i have seen 3-4 more getting it in my farm parties, never been me tho
despite me not getting lucky i really appreciate the small chance people get to have a 100-200g value weap or even buy it at very low prizes!! i think the devs really made the halloween “elites” able for all to get and feel great for all the caring, not only in this, but all parts of halloween responsiveness as a total!

tis a good idea! i still believe puzzle is gonna get easier sometime before halloween is over, but we all need to accept some people are just not able to do it.
i finished it for my pals! they were lucky havin me there and not taking a risk

salutations from a guy who spent 35g+ opening about 40-50 chests and gettin nothing halloween related. i dont feel bad tho!
all the more reason to get em back
