Don’t sink the discussion in all “i’m better than you, i know more”, there’s really no need.

Aside from that, in my experience i’ve grow to believe that people who complain are the ones who like the game: players who don’t like it just quit, without wasting time in the bug forum.

That’s why people who complain must listened and, reasonably, answered.

The pressing question now it’s not “when it get fixed”, because the Developer already non-answered: i think the new mumble it can be merged in a sense of frustration when we saw that they fixed quickly and without any “MONTHLY test run” the dye-problem, where a story-issue is still ongoing.

And yes, i’ve bought the game for the story content not for the dye drop rate, so i give the first some sort of priority.

Offcourse they fixed the dye drop rate asap: a lot of ppl (me included) got the chance to drop very rare dyes that value a couple of golds on the market; that mean the risk of imbalance the economy (really, bots does not..) and trash the entire gem/gold system Anet build up.

When it comes to REAL money, it’s always a priority…

Ok, maybe I can help here. I first tried this with a friend on the same quest. We got stuck, quest didn’t progress, plus we kept getting eaten by the destroyers. We leveled up and came back later. What did finally get it to work (and may not work for everyone) is he went to Tchkik while I stayed back to res the other skritt. It was neither pretty nor fun, but the quest updated allowing us to finish.

It’s not working for me, tried it 3 times by now.

I think we can’t do anything but wait until the 5/6 November patch: anyway, if somebody will find a workaround for the bug, please open a new post about it so we can all know.

I’ve kept all the skritts alive and it didn’t worked, also i’ve almost cleansed all the cavern and nothing changed: it seems there’s no workaround for the bug so far.
