i dont know if this is just coincidental but when I forced the process gw2.exe closed from Task manager I got in immediately on the next try…. probalby just luck.

It helped. Thanks.

For a coincidence it sure would be a weird one, because it worked for me too…

If we base ourselves on the forum ’’GW2’’ our forum community is so very friendly and nice. So much that a good part of the community have nothing else to do that become ‘’opposite side’’ to what other players want lol which is rather sad.

Let say someone didnt like something or want something to change, how dare they want something to become different, it wouldnt bother ’’them’’ but they still need to interfere and stop it !! lol

Here the most recent exemple:

Yeah if you lost them on this miniscule thing then you did not have anything for them anyway, it’s not forced content, you don’t have to do it at all.

This person didnt really bother reading much of this whole topic. Just fell like trolling and be agaisnt it. Will it bother him if dungeon could be soloed? Nah just his ’’Ego’’ possibly since cant show off and say ‘’ i beat it and you cant’’

It happened to us too on the day the dungeon first came out. We didnt wipe out yesterday when we completed it so i am guessing it is still happening…

When i tried to duo that dungeon. I teleported first and could repair, but as soon as my partner tried to teleport too we both got teleported back to the boss as soon as she got out of the loading screen, so she couldnt repair too

So i am guessing as soon as the last person that was still dead revive/teleport to waypoint, it will teleport everyone back to the boss

My theory is they wanted to make sure that no one cheat by trying to lure one of those 2 boss away from the center and kill em 1 by one lol but they went a little too far

Well finally got it done this afternoon, added a few more peoples to our party and we finished it. It went very smootly, no party whip. Took about an hour or so, far from the +3 hours of trying to duo.

Was rather fun, much more easier than when we tried to duo it lol

Still wish there was a way to do it with less peoples, as i noticed, the further we are going toward May 12, less peoples will be doing it. So it will prossibly be more difficult for peoples to do it later on…

Btw it was extremely good for the monthly Veteran kill lol

Ever since i visited the forum last year, these kind of talk is happening everywhere around here.

Party Player – talking down on – Solo Player

Both side are arguing with each other… lovely… all while Anet is now taking the Party Player side, instead of trying to find an happy medium where both side can play happy.

I am a GW1 player, i loved having hechman to tag along in my party so i didnt need to wait and find a random party, who most the time was failing more than my Hero hench party lol…

To all future ’’replies’’ i always duo stuff with my gf, so no need to say why i want to solo lol

We gonna try again next weekend when some friend will be online. Almost did it, just needed a bit more firepower.

GW2 has done a great job so far to make everyone happy, but failed in one aspect of the game sadly. Which is Story Mode for Dungeon.

I dont mind to party, but all that frustation came from the fact that our personal story was easy solo or duo till the last part of it, where we had to party for it. While the game never make us play with other players, to make friends and the like.

The flaws in at GW2 roots, even while in a party, killing something doesnt count for everyone, so yeah everyone is ’’solo’’ killing stuff in some way, since if what your party member is killing wont count for you unless you are able to hit in time too.

Yeah I fail to see how people who play a MMO expect single player content to be a main stage of content…

Guild Wars 2 has done many things to make it very much ‘’Player Friendly Environement’’ But still stayed with the old system for dungeon… which is party based.

There is a system in place, that can a scale up and down system for their events mob/boss, so why is there none for their dungeon ?

SAB was doable solo because it’s not really a dungeon.

Molten Facility would lose its grandness if I could just walk in and faceroll everything. I’m not exactly Solid Snake in this strange thing called a MMO.

Did you try SOB ? You know then it was written as joke i hope ‘’ Recommended 5 Players’’

You been missing the whole point, good for you if you like a big challenge or to party with a big group. Never thinking about those who doesnt. Selfish much ?

Lol yet again Anet is finishing a story part of the game with a 5 man dungeon, congratz Anet, you guys really rock !!!

I was so totally sacastic back there >.>

Really Anet, is that all you can do ? end stuff we try to finish ’’solo’’ or with a friend so ’’duo’’ into a forced party dungeon of 5 players…

And it doesnt matter if it is easy or not. Is the fact it cant be done alone, and so far until that part in the story, we could so just fine, so why force us again at the end ? it make no sense at all.

Is just laziness if you ask me, 2 mode could of have been added, Easy and Normal. Like the easy cloud mode in SAB.

Who in the team thought it be fun to add another dungeon so hard its impossible to solo or near impossible to even duo, so that it force peoples to party up to max party size … again ?

Really ? I mean really ? after all those complains for past months about the last dungeon Arah, forcing a full size party to finish storyline, they are still doing it ?

Here i thought they finally changed, those in charge of Super Aventure Box, done it perfectly, give their player a chance to do it alone or with a small party. Very good job SAB Team, you guys sure know how to do stuff.

Oh well in my book Anet lost their number one team for making online game. I thought there was still some hope left, but there is none. Will sure not be looking forward to any of their future game from now on.

Spoiler alert: About the last quest..

At first i thought my girlfriend and me was the only one who didnt like how ArenaNet handled the last part of the Personal Story. We played what was like a whole month non-stop, finishing every map we come across all while resuming our personal story when ready to do it. Yes we were in love with GW2… but we stopped playing since early in october due to many reason, but not being able to finish our story nearly ruined it for us.

Like so many players before and after us… we reached the last part in our personal story, luckily for us the gate to the dungeon was open, so we gave it a try, thinking the difficulty was maybe lowered due to having the Personal Story quest active. But of course it wasnt… Not only that but guess who we did meet inside the dungeon… Destiny’s Edge !! Which we didnt see since we hit Level 30 in Lion Arch…

From time to time i come on the forum to read about this issue, hoping for ArenaNet to reply here saying they are going to make some changes to the dungeons story mode. And this is something that is rather sad, this 2 months old topic which is now made of 3 pages havent received one single reply from ArenaNet staff, nope not one single reply from them. All while we can see ArenaNet staff replying in many other topics on the forum, but they are remaining silent over this…

I started playing in Guild Wars Factions, and bought all expansions afterward, and enjoyed playing GW1 for years, yes i did join a group of players when i couldnt solo a mission with those npc controlled Henchmans. And this what also made GW1 special, giving us the ability to solo everything using those henchmans or to just fill up a spot if cant find enough peoples.
