“Prisoners of Dragon” achievements “peer review” and “meet my friends, the Smiths” are still bugged. I can’t interact with journal page and there is no Beigarth to revive. Tried rushing it, tried walking behind Rytlock, tried two different characters, finished the mission twice – doesn’t work. Please let me earn the achievement.

present needlessly elaborate scheme (with ridiculous notion that buying gold in a video game can be somehow compared to drug trade)
demand developer to “do this”

hilarity ensues

You want gold, either earn it or sell gems. That’s all there is to it. It’s a game, why would it rustle your jimmies is beyond me.

I have max FoV, max vertical, centered on head, medium collision and centered horizontal; my FoV resets with login even though the slider shows that it’s set on max; have to wiggle it to make FoV go back to being awesomesauce.

Grind is still grind

To get rid of grind/farming, you need to do actual content. The thing is, doing content is not an easy task. You either have a game without anything to do while waiting for another content bath that you’ll burn through many times quicker than it took to make and proceed to whine that there is no content, or you get something to grind for alongside content patches and proceed to whine that there is grind existing.

You cannot eat the cake and have it too. People ripped through the base game and got legendaries in a month or two, and it took half a decade to craft that game for aNet. There is nothing that they can do to satisfy hardcore and semi-hardcore playerbase in terms of content without turning to grind.

You need to understand that people are the problem. They have too much time on their hands, and they want to do everything at once, they put 40 hours a week into the game and then are surprised that there is not enough content. I’m not saying that this is invalid way to play the game, but you have to understand that if you want to play the game in such a manner, you have to be ready for consequences, and the consequences will be that you need to either stop playing or resort to grind. There is no possibility of producing content fast enough to satiate playerbase, there will be always demand for more. So just put the game down or do some grind for some skin, since there is no way aNet will put the content fast enough.

Also, if you want to remove grind from your game entirely, play pvp for the fun of playing pvp instead of trying to get max rank. If you don’t like pvp, well, tough luck.

A BIG no-no. I always supported GW2, I don’t mind its many flaws – I just say give them time, the game will get better.

Well with that it won’t. It’ll get grindier. And kitten me, they’ll brake their word and make total liars out of themselves if they let it slide. Gear treadmill is the one thing that made me buy this game – if they take a dump on that… Well I’m going to be disappointed.

I still have hope in you guys, don’t backstab me! Please?

No forced grind at all in this game :o

" By this time you more than likely have plenty of Karma to buy max damage orange weapons."

IDK how is it now, but half a month ago there were no max-stat weapons that you could buy with karma.

Also: "scended armors are “slightly more powerful than exotics” and can, in some cases, hold slots for infusions. Infusions will allow you to increase your character’s power."

So yea there’s possibility that grind is coming to get ya anyway.

Yea I read that and was like “oh… no… no no no no for kitten’s sake no”.
I don’t know why would they do that but… I don’t know. It makes no sense, they basically driven all the people that wanted the gear treadmill away from GW2, and IMHO it’s a good thing. And now that? Seems kinda weird.
Well I guess we’ll have to wait and see… But I’m watching you aNet. Please, don’t go off and brake my heart.

No, really. This is like 10th topic. Everyone knows its unresponsive as hell. Please, do something about it. Players shouldn’t be punished just because they decide to autoattack.

Other skills on 1-hander are great, I love to use it with dagger on pvp as it gives me about 2 more seconds of evading everything. But when you get locked on the auttoattack chain you cant even use your dodge roll, not to mention other evasive skills. Why does the autoattack got priority over every other move?

Also, while 2nd skill is cool and original, the leap backwards -> leap forward is kinda hard to pull of properly. You can’t gapclose with it, cause you have to launch yourself away from the target. You can disangage, this is true, but it would be a whole lot more responsive if you leaped to the target first (so when you’re in melee range you just do a little hop to the enemy face) and then jumped backwards. Let’s be honest – there is lot less situations in which you want to quickly dodge out of a fight and then jump right back in than jump to or quickly to then away from enemy.

aNet, pls.
