If a server has basically the same K:D ratio in any tier it’s in…i guess said server must be out-manning everyone. They just have numbers, that is all it is, right?

Honestly at the start of the week matches seem fairly even numbers…soon enough though, after getting bag farmed, people will fair-weather away and go pve. So eventually we outnumber everyone…simply because you stop showing up…and then we get bored and go bag hunting in EoTM instead.

You can go into WvW on an under leveled character and/or under geared but I wouldn’t recommend it.
Most cases you’ll want to be lvl 80 with at least full exotic gear.
If you do WvW on an uplevel, you won’t be able to use lvl 80 gear, if that is what you are asking. You must actually meet the requirements on equipment in order to use it.

Bring cleanse to wvw, and leave the area. They aren’t worth the effort.
Did you drop more than one trap at a time?
If he ran over one he would have been revealed, simple as that.
Any chance he watched you drop one (easy to see), avoided it…then watched you drop another (first one would disappear)…and continued to laugh at you?

Ghost thief shouldn’t be a thing…but it’s usually easily ignored. Move on.

I’m on MAG…I don’t speak for everyone but…poach away, if someone wants to join your guild/server, I don’t see how that would be anyone else’s business? Play with mag pugs, recruit em, and have em x-fer over to DR when you get un-linked. Rinse and repeat on your next host server. Job done. FYI – When/if I ever throw up a recruit message, I have not and won’t add the line “must be on mag”. Hope that helps.

Fair point, but there is also something tempting about being on a “floating” server. I think roamers (and smaller kick*** guilds like t-rex o/) for instance would be more attracted to a floating server than to a host server. Not only that…but if the worlds weren’t linked…would the outcome have been any different? I doubt it. Also, if a guild is on a floating server…there is potential for more growth through linking, as you will have access to multiple host servers and their pugs (theoretically). Be open and friendly on said host servers, recruit for your guild, and pay for transfers if needed.
