Guild Wars 2

Cake is a new guild on Piken Square EU.

Our focus is on WvW/PvP but we also enjoy other aspects of the game.

We are a casual community. We don’t take ourselves too seriously but do want to do well at what we do.

One of our aims is to encourage players that are either new to the game or WvW/PvP in general to take part, as often players are afraid to do any form of PvP for fear of being made to feel stupid or completely lost. To achieve this we have approachable people explaining tactics, commanding in Edge of the Mists to help members get used to working as a team.

We use Teamspeak 3 to communicate to each other.

We welcome players of all abilities and knowledge we just want people to enjoy themselves, join in with guild activities where possible and be prepared to learn or pass on knowledge.

Organised open raids twice weekly. Mondays and Wednesdays (subject to change and possibly additional days added depending on availability)

Use TS3
Rep the guild (bank guilds are fine)
Join in with the raids if online
Respect all players (stomping opponents is fine!)

Quick update: Levelled my Necro to 80 and now working on a 23 Ele

What I have noticed looking on the forum is that people are looking for guilds with specific requirements but people don’t read this and just aggressively advertise their guilds anyway.

So just a polite note to guild recruiters please read what people are posting and don’t use it as a way to promote your guild.

Just to add to my original thread that so far I haven’t found a guild but I haven’t been on line.

Would also be happy for people to just tag along with me or vice versa around Tyria in PvE and/or WvW stuff untill I do actually find the right guild that fits

Returning to the game on a very casual basis need some lost souls to run around with enjoying the world of Tyria.

Have a couple of characters 80 Guardian and 72 Necro Think I might start a new character from scratch to learn/relearn the game again tbh

Logging on this weekend made me realise I’d forgotten more than I knew and know less than I thought so it would be good to find a smallish group of mature English speaking people to enjoy the game with. I really won’t be logging for huge periods of time but I’ll be happy to help when I do.

I haven’t been abl;e to run an instance for over a week and have given up trying now because I spent money to amend my traits to do HoW with 4 guildies – 1 guildy couldnt enter. This had been the case for other dungeons over the previous week.

Please fix tyhis I can’t afford to waste valuable coin changing traits and waypointing to stand about to achieve nothing. This bug has to be treated as a priority for me running dungeons is a major part of an MMO.
