Getting the same issue with “shaman Purda” in diessa plateau
Necro to the max, getting the same issue, i’m level 30 and i can not get this guy’s dialog to come up when i talk to him, i did the quests around here too
bleghhh, still 100% full all the time ><, checked like 50 times today, woke up 4 times during the night 12-6 am >.>
WvW resets at 4pm PST on Friday every week.

You will be able to transfer once it opens up, you have to wait 7 days between transfers but not between joining and your first transfer.
As for when it opens up it’s hard to say. It’s based on the number of accounts with that server selected as their home – not the number of players currently online. So a space only opens up when someone transfers out (or possibly is inactive for a long time). It’s hard to know when that happens but I’ve heard that whenever WvW resets is a good time because a lot of people will change servers to be on one that’s winning that week.
Yeah, i figured that out about the accounts – that’s a shame, id much rather a traditional que system since this pretty much tells new players “kitten off”, but oh well. and when does WvW reset? weekly? if so what day/time?
yeah, i want to play and explore classes and races and **** now, i can’t even change my ingame settings with out selecting a shard lol..
i’m not willing to risk having to wait a MINIMUM of SEVEN days to play with my friends after buying this game, that is absurd, not to mention the time of getting in TC is probally massive beyond that too :l
my sister just bought me GW2 for Christmas, looks real fun, and she’s on Tarnished Coast, a server that seems to be insanely full like all the time ever. 6 hours of nonstop reloading game has not let me in, and i want to be able to play with her and her friends…
so i ask, if i make a character on a different shard, (thus selecting my home shard to be there) will i be able to transfer to tarnished once it opens up, or do i have to wait 7 days? thanks
