Thinking about the amount of new armors we got with HoT, its hard to describe how much is dislike your idea.

Stay at the camp in the middle (there is no waypoint), wait till the event goes to 4/4 secured camps and than (if its already spawntime) look at your minimap where the boss-symbol appears. If its at your place, go make damage. If its below or above your position, open the map and use a waypoint. Its takes not more than 10 seconds to reach the KQ. Also KQ isn’t dead after 30 seconds.

Oh, I missed the part with the missing waypoint, because he wrote it happend five or six times. So again @ OP, seriously? I mean, seriously? You missed KQ once because of a missing waypoint and learned nothing from that? Thats a bit sad…

Now i wouldn’t at all be against the snowglobe being a sell-able item that was given every 10 or 20 runs….. I’d love to make more money for minimal effort

Shure I do want this shoulders, but be honest, would you waste lots of time if you clearly know that it is not going to happen? And I clearly know that, as I wrote I tried this for hours, not only a few times. But at some point I’m giving it up, otherwise it would drive me mad.

By not making excuses and actively going out of your way, even though it may not be appealing or easy and just taking small steps.

Eventually you will build up muscle memory and be able to do the puzzle almost instinctively.

You made me laugh. Maybe I should get a personal trainer for that. Oh wait, GW is a game and Wintersday is a festival, maybe a bit exaggerated. I’m not making excuses, me not being able to do this is the third sure thing, between death and taxes. I wasted a lot of time till now on that and I will not waste anymore.

Stop making excuses. This JP is not even considered hard by most. You can eventually do it if you practice for a few hours despite how bad you are.

Yes I’m ok with working for something which I can safely reach. Let’s take your 1000 gold, it would take me something between 50 and 100 hours of excessive working to get them. But I can be sure that I have it after that and that is the point.

On the other hand we have this JP. I spent around five or six hours there (with my trys last year) and after that I’m clear about that I could spend 100 hours there, I’ll never finish it. At the end I have NOTHING than wasted time

And guess what, doing it the time that I’ve done it till now was far away from what I would call fun or enjoyable.

I feel with you if you can’t see the difference between thos two things. Also you miss one thing, you have alternatives for the 10k drinks. You have alternatives how you get it. Gold if you’re rich, karma if have a lot of it or just doing the festival events (where you have also a lot of alternatives).

While getting the new special shiny is nice and all, I hardly think its the “only” thing that makes the festival enjoyable. Its there for people who want to go a step beyond and get something extra special with a wad of gold and a variety of skills. The festival activities themselves and the other rewards like the star of gratitude are the stuff meant to be more for “everyone”.

These activities are exactly the same than last year. I personally need a goal to work towards to do the same stuff every year.

Yes I do complain about the JP.

10k drinks looks much, but I got at least 500 of it while playing Wintersday for one day. You don’t have to buy it all and now. You can get the gifts for gold, karma or just playing the festival. Also the prices will drop the longer the festival goes and there are several ways to obtain gold. But being not able to finish the JP means “go KITTEN yourself”, you will not get this skin.

So what about the people without medical issues? I’ve tried this JP for hours, last year and this year, but I’m not able to do it. And I know a lot of people who are also not able doing it.

I do accept that I’m not good enough to play raids for example, but Wintersday is a festival. Festivals should be fun for all people and since Winter’s Presence is the only big new thing that is worth to work for, is it fair to exclude so many people from it?

The issue of the OP is clear, every information is given to us in the topic. He is looking forward to NPC also having accounts, so he can add them as friends. Maybe nobody wants to play with him.

That was only a hint to look to the inet before farming, many websites provide maps that show the best spots.

You answered the question yourself, since the prices for crafting materials went up its even more profitable to sell them.

You could do two things, first you could farm stuff like metals or wood, there are good maps out there in the www where you can find the best places doing that. Second, if you don’t have a problem with ZergWars, go to the Silver Wastes for chestfarming or places like Cursed Shore for champfarming. Salvage everything you get and sell it.
