I’m just gunna say no infinite coin here and none in my group and we completed both levels after two play throughs, loved every minute and some of my best moments within gw2 genuinely love the SAB and I’m thankful to the devs for bringing it out. This is my last post regarding SAB as I don’t want to sit here defending it all night lol. I hope all you guys who’ve struggled manage to get through it eventually and again I love SAB so thanks Josh, the rest of the devs and especially the guys who did the music

Just give it a few days its here for a month next time go back through again get one guy to save and see the time you cut off your first run or even just farm w1 for baubles then just jump to that zone again you don’t even have to replay it we just fancied it. I genuinely hope more people stick with it and you get through it mate, beating something really hard is so rewarding and i know ill remember those runs for a long long time just like I remember how hard sonic was back when I was younger.

I get that people are finding this hard and we all have different skill levels (I’m in no way stating I’m pro) but it was a case of learning each path for me and my guildies, we ran world 1 followed by world 2 last night and came to the same part with the torch and didn’t have enough baubles so we all logged off @ about 2am after about 4 hours solid play and some of the best & most challenging times I’ve had on guild wars 2 (and any other game) since release. Lucky we all had some time off work/school this afternoon and all met up again, we restarted at world one and we got one guy to save baubles while the rest of us got us the items we needed to get through, we flew through it all back up until the frozen door, all last nights experiences stuck, we remembered paths and tricks and I’d say it took us less than half of the time the night before…then you get through the frozen door and my god it’s hard (no spoilers) lol but we beat it and the sense of achievement was amazing. I took 20 continue coins with me after loosing all the previous night and I left with 5 when finished so I wouldn’t say IMO it was too bad or you NEED the unlimited continue coin. I gotta say having the bunch of guys I did enjoying what I was enjoying not caring for rewards just playing it for the Lolz really made some of those death filled difficult areas feel fun as we all hammered each other every time we died :P

Is it too hard? Respect the awesome work

Is world 2 hard? Yes very very hard and probably a little too hard for the second world, I’d of expected that difficulty from world 3 maybe, but after spending the last 3 hours with some good friends from my guild and completing it I gotta say we had fun even though at times we all wanted to smash our faces off our keyboards, teamspeak really does help when your all laughing at each other dying over and over. As I said to all of them though (I’m 28 they are younger) this is what games were like back when I started gaming – Kid Chameleon anyone? 100 levels no way to save it, if you run out of lives back to level 1 and still one of the greatest games I’ve ever played. Again yes it’s hard but it is doable and I’m looking forward to beating w3 with the lads tomorrow.

Can someone give me their 2 cents?

Use either a power s/p build or a d/d condition build for levelling they are by far the easiest IMO and quickest as for p/d condition in wvw it’s very popular ATM so there’s loads of builds out there, I’d suggest having a look at a few get an idea as your stats look a bit too spread on first glance and the point bun made about ricochet could be really cool actually.

D/P Condition PvE Suggestions?

Hey & WB just my advice as someone who plays thief in wvw & pve p/d is kinda flavour of the month ATM in WvW I mean you still see a lot of d/p but I think thieves are enjoying the fact we can use different builds ATM but as for PVE I’d really recommend starting to grab some straight up power items and drop the condition dmg, the dmg is quite slow in pve especially when your fighting something tough like a champion where as with d/p and dmg gear you can blind anyone with a circle around you using blinding powder then aa a bit then heart seeker for stealth to backstab (go for a mix of berserkers, knight & valk depending on how much dmg you want it to take) obviously cost can be an issue but farming these new events is a pretty effective gold mine ATM or just pick up rares until you can change to exotics, it give you idea of the style and the much faster dmg you can do plus if you have a good guild you’ll get runs in most dungeons regardless. I’m no pro or anything I’ve just tried most builds for thief and I genuinely wish condition was more useful in pve but its just not as a thief at least. Hope this helps mate and if you want any more advice feel free to add me in game and ill help as much as I can.
