Maybe when you learn to play the game you’ll have more luck. For example:

There is no need to ever do story mode on any character. As long as one person in your group has done story mode before then the entire party can enter explorable mode.

Ugh kitten I had so many people tell me otherwise and claim they couldn’t get into the instance because I was in the group. This was two separate groups, plus several people outside the instance.

I guess I’ll give it another shot next weekend if I get a chance to play uninterrupted for a few hours

Laziness is not an excuse.

I tried to find a group for 3 full hours tonight using this website but never even got to start a single instance. Apparently no one wants to do story modes anymore, and most of the invites I got were for Explore mode (even though I specifically signed up for Story mode and couldn’t get inside). For the few times that I actually did find a group of people who wanted to do Story mode, we never did find a full group of 5 before someone got bored and left

When is the Dungeon Finder being released? I’d really like to play this game but it’s pretty boring standing around for hours just hoping to find a group capable of wiping on the first pull (because at least that would mean we started)

I would like to know when they are going to implement a Dungeon Finder tool. I have spent about 10 hours trying to find a group for a Dungeon, and I have yet to even start a single Dungeon. It is completely ridiculous that anyone thinks alt-tabbing to a third party website is an acceptable method of finding groups.

Maybe it works fine for people doing the most popular instances, but if you have joined the game late and are locked out from doing Explore modes until you finish the Story mode first, then it is literally impossible to find a group.

So I’ve been trying to try out dungeons, but so far I’ve spent a couple hours across various nights trying to join a group, without ever once finding a full group. I rarely have enough time to play where I can even attempt to join a dungeon group, so it’s pretty pathetic to sit down and then spend my entire time waiting around. It’s almost demoralizing enough to make me miss WoW (ugh not quite though)

Is there really not a dungeon finder tool in this game? What year is this?

I have not done a ton of PVP yet, but I did gain about 5 levels today from strictly WvW pvp as a Greatsword Guardian, and I must either be doing something wrong or else melee in general is just really terrible in this game.

In the very rare cases where I got to 1v1 or even 1v2, I basically always won, so it’s not like the class is weak as far as I can tell. But 99% of the pvp is just massive ranged AOE zergs where I can either stand around doing nothing or charge into the fray and die instantly.

Am I missing something here or is melee just really useless at PVP in this game?
