I am trying to login to the client, but i get the message:

last thing I did was crash of lag in a dungeon
(and I have never had lag…)
to counter that you could also make the #4 skill a stealth detection spell for 600(?) range, this would then also be a good way to sweep keeps and towers for mesmers and thieves
Another could be to make people “Captains” and these people could be leading smaller groups and the Commander would be able to see where they are at all times while on the map.
this is not a bad idea actually, this way you can prevent more trolls, and captain ranks will be linked to the commander that gave them, it would also give the commander some form of control over who his captains are
i thought about that, but if you remove the revert button it loses its viability as an ambush asset, it would only be OP if used correctly, and since you can still be hit i dont see how it becomes OP with a revert button,
especially since you cant move while in stealth or in the air

the NA gold winner was decided the moment the alliance between TC and JQ was made, as for determining 3rd place I have it from reasonably reliable sources to believe that even that has been rigged, SoS will be allowed to become 2nd making them 3rd over all.

but back on topic I am in favor of the discontinuation of any and all WvW tournaments as Anet doesn’t seem to understand that the glico rating (duno if that’s spelled right) says more about a server’s strength then a ppt, especially since you cant mess with the glico rating like you can with the ppt overall score as is happening now
Proposal Overview
a towns clothing potions for scouting/ambush purposes in WvW
Goal of Proposal
the idea behind this potion is to give smaller groups the ability to surprise and defeat larger groups without giving a definite advantage.
Proposal Functionality & Associated Risks
the setup would be:
the potion is like town clothing blocking all normal skills and utilities and that is cancelled when combat is entered (to prevent abuse)
skills would be:
1) a jump hover skill, that lifts you straight up, with no way to move in any direction (to prevent wall jumping), for scouting purposes, if cancelled in mid flight the player is dropped to the ground with reduced fall damage, leaving no mark to the surrounding (to prevent a repeat of the mesmer bomb) and with no way of being interfered with (io pull/push effects to throw the jumper over insurmountable objects)
2) a cloaking skill to cloak yourself in position, any movement would cancel this. (to prevent stealth in towers keeps or castles this should not be usable inside the walls),
3) not sure about this one but: a binocular skill to be able to zoom in on a battlefield area in a line of sight
4) a panic port button, that ports you to home spawn on the map you are on if you are out of combat (citadel for home BL, and borderland waypoint for the others)
5) revert option
this potion would make it easy to ambush larger groups, and will make strategic movement a more crucial then large groups, this would also reduce the value in moving around as a large group

Proposal Overview
I suggest a 2 stage commander tag,
Goal of Proposal
my suggestion is simple, I’ve noticed that commanders are heavily dependant on vocal or written information about squad locations.
this proposal is in order to promote breaking off from the zerg without the commander losing sight of his people
doing so will give commanders to command over bigger distances and makes a wider range of strategies easily accessible.
Proposal Functionality
were the first tier is like 10G and the second tier is 90G, this way 1 person in each party can get a captain/lieutenant tag.
as for the icon, this could be anything, but my suggestion is making it the lower V that is already in the current commander icon to show that being a commander puts you above the captains
Associated Risks
to prevent the crowding in open world I also suggest making such a captain tag only available in WvW.
to prevent interference with the current system the captain tag should not be able to have people join his squad, this will prevent people from being satisfied with a captain tag, while still making it a useful purchase if you plan to be a part of a bigger command.
