+1 for a native Mac client !!
@Fael
I will try to reset the SMC as you have suggested, thank you.
However, my MacBook Pro Retina is able to run Guild Wars 2 with the highest settings at a good FPS. It already did it.
Update :
Miraculously, my problem seems to have been resolved : I can play with good settings and FPS again !
Sorry Fael, but it is not thank to you… I haven’t reset my SMC yet.

Hi,
I have very low FPS (not above 15) with a MacBook Pro Retina 2,3 GHz (OS X 10.8.2), but only since a few days. Before, I could run Guild Wars 2 with the highest graphics and I had a good FPS.
For my part, I could play with the highest graphics and resolution (2880×1800).
Yet, since a few days, I have very low performances… strange, isn’t it ?

Hello,
I went to the French forum, but nobody answered my questions.
So, I have a MacBook Pro Retina 2,3 GHz, and since a few days, my FPS is very low.
Before, I could run Guild Wars 2 with the highest settings, and about 20 to 25 FPS. But now, it’s about 5 FPS with the same settings ; and even with the lowest ones, the FPS never exceeds 15.
Has somebody the same trouble as me?
I have noticed some things:
- the ventilator seems to blow less than before;
- I have changed the resolution (from 1024×768 to 2880×1800), but there is no difference;
- previously, the predefined high quality setting activated all the settings, whereas presently, it doesn’t work with FXAA, reflexions (put to “Ground and sky”) and shaders (“Medium”).
Thanks for your help – and sorry for the mistakes!
Update : I have just noticed there were other topics about the problem of low performances with MacBook Pro Retina.
However, either people have low FPS or they have high, but not decreasing as me.
