Hey, RedAnders, and greetings from a resident of the unofficial NA RP server.
I’m not in a RP guild myself, nor am I a formal RPer, so I can’t give you personal recommendations. However, if you haven’t already, I recommend giving http://www.guildwars2roleplayers.com a look. They have a listing of RP guilds there, and it’s a good way to get to know people.
Best wishes!
Tyvm! This is very helpful.
I’m a former roleplayer looking to get back into it, if possible. Here are some details about me:
I’m from Gate of Madness and not willing to transfer. I’ve been unable to find an RP guild there so far, so I don’t mind guesting.
I lead my own (tiny) guild so I won’t be able to rep constantly, just when I’m up for RPing.
I’ve never roleplayed on a graphical game before; previously, only text. I’m willing to learn the nuances and hoping to find a nice group to show me the ropes.
I’m 20-something years old.
I’m familiar with all facets of the game.
I have at least one character of every race and characters of both sexes. Most of them already have fairly fleshed-out RP personalities. I feel like I could bring a lot to the table.
I’m laid-back, hard to offend, and rather easily amused.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I’m an open book!

It would be pretty neat to see weapons with action bubbles for visual effects saying things like “SWOOSH” or “KA-BLAM” or “THUNK,” etc.—sort of like what you see in costume brawls. The skins could feature Ben-Day Dot style coloring.
Send one my way please
These items look like lanterns to me but they don’t glow in preview mode. I’m wondering if they’re like the AC weapons and glow at night. Anyone know?
These golems should not receive a buff when a laser passes over them and also be able to pull, stun, and confuse players; one or more of these abilities has got to give.
I also wasn’t able to complete the dungeon as the NPC bugged after the fight with Frizz, at which point the instance leader (rightly) quit.
As it is, I won’t be returning to this dungeon.

This is how you do the arm seals, kill 1 mob, hit seal, run to other side, kill 1 mob, run to other side. after the first 2 hits 1 person has to keep them in combat so they dont heal, i do it on my ranger because of the pet. Do that, win, profit.
“…The chanters at the previous seal were repairing it too quickly due to their numbers.”
Best tactic involves leaving one enemy alive on one seal to prevent more from spawning and then just charging hammer on other side.
Even when there was only one mob left, more spawned.
I’ve slunk away defeatedly from Cliffside to the forums to complain about another bug: When attempting to break the arm seals, instead of there being three to four chanters at each seal, there were seven to eight. We had a decent party build: two warriors, an elementalist, a mesmer, and a hunter; still, we could not deal with this.
We first tried staying together as a group, but the chanters at the previous seal were repairing it too quickly due to their numbers. Wiped. Tried again. Wiped.
We then tried, perhaps foolishly, to have two stay at each seal with a couple of hammer carriers in rotation. This of course also did not work, and we wiped.
To be frank, I’m all for having this Fractal removed from rotation simply because ArenaNet can’t seem to get it right and keep it that way.
