Can I ask what the hell happened to SFR?
I was a fan of em last year, seemed like good server(I actually moved to them for few weeks last year when they were mid tier to get away from RUIN on Deso, and to have fair fights etc..) And seemed like great little server. They never had the pop of the big servers yet seemed to be very organised and have good skill level of pugs.

I’d have to disagree totally with all that now tbh, I’m sure the ‘old skool’ SFRs are still around and grand but since there boom to T1 last year and esp now again since the free transfers stopped they have gone down a massive hill.
Obviously they have gone up score wise and are no1 server now and probably will be for few more weeks, but the average pug I come a cross is pretty bad, and I can count at least 10 times in last 5 days I’ve gotten party invites from SFR players I’ve killed 1v1 or 5v4 etc.. that just call you ‘desoscum’ and troll for 5mins, I always let them vent as they are just bad losers but by god SFR is going downhill fast, and its a shame to see.

Could be a case of success breeds contempt for some, but I really don’t care who is 1 or 2. In fact I’ve always preferred T2 or T3 then T1.
The best thing that can happen for SFR now is a drop down tiers as some big guilds move back to where they came from pikenSquare or w/e and the real SFR players build back up again, done wonders for deso after the RUIN shambles, We will never be 1st again way things are, and that’s just fine by me and most I know who play.

TLDR; SFR have some very skilled guilds and players, but since there upward run through the tiers they have attracted a tonne load of very bad players and trolls, and imo they are bringing the name of server down to the dumps. It’s a shame.

Lots of angry people who have decided to transfer on the wrong server maybe a while ago (weeks/days)

Nice try to disrupt me from destroying your Dolyak with the whole french-viz raid at bluebriar on our homeland – but i have won (against 30 ppl!) someone of you told we would need a whole raid to destroy one dolyak. This was what i wanted to know

SFR always was a strong server – with BOON, RG, ECL and sIN we are able to be number one. That’s the way it is. Try to wait for better times (and improve player scills!).

(Btw we had to beat piken and sometimes RG so that RG and all the other guilds were interested in our server! They not come to us because of we were smart and handsome …)

This is like real war – the coolest guy wins all.

Try it out. I prognosticate if you send IRON in holiday or IRON leave Desolation, this Server drops immediately in T2-3. Moreover, i think Deso is the new Blacktide if IRON would do this. IRON is the biggest Guild i have ever seen in gw2 and in addition to this, its a guild which have i high amount of scilled players. Far more than i can see elsewhere on Desolation. It sounds hard, but its my only perception until now of Deso and the Big-IRON.

SFR is one of the best-scilled-player-server next after or before piken (maybe was).
And this exactly is the reason why i played there since release.
If i see equal members – i ever see winning us.
Only, and rly only if there is the (Big-)IRON-Squad – we are losing sometimes. You could also say IRON=Deso.

VZ is a fair opponent in my view. I wish i could see a Desolation that is fighting sometimes against VZ instead only against us and fall in our back and cover VZ towers. Only VZ have the courage to attack routinely both enemys.

Its just hard to admit if these or thus player was better prepared for some situation where player xy died thanks to a thief. So one thread after another begins.
Thiefs mostly builded only for 1vs1 situations and soloroaming. If you specialize any other profession – stealthed or unstealthed – for soloroaming, you can handle it.
I think the most people are forgeting that if they are killed by thiefs who waiting between the point where you spawn and where is your goal (the bulk), doing so, because they are specialized on other circumstances!

So try out stealth-abilitys in spvp and you will see it is going nicely.

Thiefs are born to highway robbery! Please accept this allimportant fact of thief as a profession and stealth as an ability to do that.

11:30 and on deso borderlands all going lost because of 5-6 vz and no single(!) sfr-player on this whole map!

(first attack of 2vz both with catas i could defend, but than there were to much for single player action and they were coming back also with a treb and catas)

This is rly stupid, our server still needs a lot of players – we have indeed only in the evening q-times of 1h – but thats primetime.

As you can see in this video – this ele is destroying 3 (!!!!) Thiefs simultaneously !!!!

This is ridiculous, Vizunah always have primetime in number of players.
We only have a chance in times if euro-russia isnt at work.
