Hello, I disagree with your opinion because you can’t really assume it won’t work : Viz tactics do work, and I’m backing this statement with the 12 out of 24 weeks where Vizunah was Europe’s #1. Yes, 12 times. No other server matched that. It may sounds arrogant or pretentious, but these are facts.

Therefore, if I were you I wouldn’t venture myself publicly stating either server tactics will work or not, that would be quite unwise, good Sir. Especially when coming from some SFR player where your history in Tier 1, while actually being on an rather impressive winning streak (congratulations for that), began way after Vizunah and is also shorter.

You have to be aware that you’re not showing your server on a good side when you make foul statements and bland assumptions. I would then advise you to back your statements with facts, next time you want to share your opinion here. Thank you.

I like it Iron unhappy Vz calling them our dogs.. started to focus us GG But why attacking t2 hills when we are in inner t3 garrison on vz bl? And really we blobing…
Last night we had 3 guilds on vz bl. Riot Ext BG,we liked to had fun moving different directions gettign objectives but yeah… Iron come with 40+ Vz in 1 big blob wl + ect probably 60+
and we need to group too,you cant fight this numbers in the current culling situation without masive force….
And what happened was skil lag culling even worse and infact the once who had better culling won the fights…. Pretty boring…..
And for all the drama we are here to stay and we lead….
But yeah now vz have a tactic that works for them,get the morning free cap ugprade to t3 then blob all day and just cause culling skill lag and keep our points as low as possible…Funny it won’t work but I have to give it to you guys you come up with something this time….

Tbh I was just fighting viz last night, enjoying fights against WL and CDD when I came on, then when we were in bay defending those lovely wooden walls/doors, you guys decided to attack Briar. I don’t mind as its a 3 way after all.

But can you pls get it out of your heads thats its ok to attack us but not for us to return the favour? Also should we just let you guys split and roam attack the map? Nah ofcourse not.

In fact our scouts informed us WL were at south hills stopping reinforcements getting in, and the rest of Viz was on north west hills, so we decided to go pick a fight and defend your Hills (as I remembered viz taking our bay the night before), just so happenned that you guys decided to join in as did WL. Awesome 3 way fight it became.

Now we are a bit tired on Deso, having to take back t3 keeps in Prime time, not being able to updrade those same keeps and towers every day to something defendable. So yeh when I am commanding I am just looking for fun, and if that means annoying you guys I am sorry, we did the same against Viz last week on your border.

Sadly Tactics are out of the window for Deso, as they will make little to no difference so its all about finding enjoyment where we can.

Oh and yeh the lag is becoming unbearable, I have given up trying to use my heal skill in fights.

I’m really enjoying this week, Vizu is back( please let me rest a few .p ) and always love hit me with the guild of desolation (even more with the Spanish ones) although I have to say lag skill its making this game unplayable!

We just failed to understand why would you bother with a tower, when you could have gone retake your Bay? Owners doesnt meen much in a true 1v1v1 situation, but a Bay is always > than a tower, and it was on your side of the map.
But as overal there were a lot of great field fights, which sadly and unexplainingly for me went pretty bad for us most of the cases. If the lag hasn’t ruined the game so effin much those fights would have been epic. But I cant see this epicness in me spaming only fireballs at yo faces doing nothing (every Elementalist playing staff will bare with me here ). Cant wait to withess that great moment in our time, when culling and lagg sieze to exist in Guild Wars 2. This glorious day shall be written and forever remembered by the history of mankind!

(frenchies you can cool down between dolyaks spawns more than enough, on every time – because there is always one)

On the stream of Red guard, is always massive numbers. (same blob as deso and vizunah) so dont complain if iron crushes you. specially when iron is with 30 people and RG is with 4 (well your stream tells otherwise) dont make false speculation if your streaming the evidence, You guys have the same amount of numbers just accept your defeat

I was a fan of em last year, seemed like good server(I actually moved to them for few weeks last year when they were mid tier to get away from RUIN on Deso, and to have fair fights etc..) And seemed like great little server. They never had the pop of the big servers yet seemed to be very organised and have good skill level of pugs.

I’d have to disagree totally with all that now tbh, I’m sure the ‘old skool’ SFRs are still around and grand but since there boom to T1 last year and esp now again since the free transfers stopped they have gone down a massive hill.
Obviously they have gone up score wise and are no1 server now and probably will be for few more weeks, but the average pug I come a cross is pretty bad, and I can count at least 10 times in last 5 days I’ve gotten party invites from SFR players I’ve killed 1v1 or 5v4 etc.. that just call you ‘desoscum’ and troll for 5mins, I always let them vent as they are just bad losers but by god SFR is going downhill fast, and its a shame to see.

Could be a case of success breeds contempt for some, but I really don’t care who is 1 or 2. In fact I’ve always preferred T2 or T3 then T1.
The best thing that can happen for SFR now is a drop down tiers as some big guilds move back to where they came from pikenSquare or w/e and the real SFR players build back up again, done wonders for deso after the RUIN shambles, We will never be 1st again way things are, and that’s just fine by me and most I know who play.

TLDR; SFR have some very skilled guilds and players, but since there upward run through the tiers they have attracted a tonne load of very bad players and trolls, and imo they are bringing the name of server down to the dumps. It’s a shame.

Trolling and mud talking. We always ask during our raid time, non vcy members to follow an other commander ,so we can spread our forces . Many do that ,but some others do not. We want open field battles , we want GvG action and we hate night capping and blobing , but we are forced to stay awake during night-early morning and deal with that “tactic” and repay with the same coin!

Im sorry you feel this way! But as a result of climbing the ranks, we have had an influx of bad players or bandwagonning pugs and unfortunaly there is nothing we can do against this :/

To me it seems that people want to really think this way just because of people that joined us and are helping us to be competitive. There are bad apples in each basket and they aren’t always the ones that joined later, I really feel bad for players that get labeled as bandwagoners / bad players just because they had to leave to find better community for them.

Funny how people in here cry about the IRON/Deso Blob… From my view as a deso player this was to be expected. I will explain it for the guys that lost logic when facerubbing unguarded keeps. We don’t have the numbers to guard all borders 24/7 in fact we never were able to do so. So when you login during the morning we face T3 keeps. (This is most of the time just taken for granted) People will go to the border that does not have to face T3 towers/keeps guarded by more players than we have on that border right?. So? Just join the border with population! Players team up on the commander that is already leading. The Blob is BORN!

So now SFR gets mad because they get defeated by players that they used to kick around and loot on other borders? (I lost SFR logic here) You guys Call in your reinforcement and create a blob of your own… Meanwhile vizunah takes advantage of your little revenge crusade (sneaky? I prefer calling that a smart move) rolls over the borders that can not be guarded because you call in people from the other borders draining this border in power.

Does this mean we work with Vizunah? No, in fact you guys are making it alot harder on yourself this way and you guys must have noticed you lost alot of potential points during your little crusade handing them to Vizunah and a small part to Deso. GJ on showing your stupidity.

Conclusion: The “Deso blob” that is trying to have fun hits the SFR blob that acts in revenge while vizunah plays for the points. Deso the server that has a small WvW presence compared SFR is called a Blob by SFR who creates a blob of their own to counter it… Really? how can you explain this logic?…
SFR your numbers are amazing I give you that but you tactics and logic were lost when you became superserver.

Anyway I had fun placing my part of “the Blob” in your face yesterday and the loot was deliscious omnomnomnom!

Just to all the IRON ppl who are complaining about lagging, no offense but it’s you causing the lag. Having 60v60 fights in this game is impossible it causes skill delay, it’s just 1 spam which is why most guilds prefer to run in 20-40 ppl max and try not to concentrate the entire zone in one position on one commander. If you do concentrate all the zone on one commander the only efficient response from the other server IF they want to defend objectives from you is to do the same thing. this causes these huge unplayable 60-90v60-90 lagfests.

I would advise you to run multiple zones/raids don’t run as large numbers if you want to avoid lag. I guess you are already doing that though… what a HUGE guild :p

Iron guild doesn’t cause lag because everybody have iron tag. They don’t blob either because their all have iron tag.

Could be a case of success breeds contempt for some, but I really don’t care who is 1 or 2. In fact I’ve always preferred T2 or T3 then T1.
The best thing that can happen for SFR now is a drop down tiers as some big guilds move back to where they came from pikenSquare or w/e and the real SFR players build back up again, done wonders for deso after the RUIN shambles, We will never be 1st again way things are, and that’s just fine by me and most I know who play.

TLDR; SFR have some very skilled guilds and players, but since there upward run through the tiers they have attracted a tonne load of very bad players and trolls, and imo they are bringing the name of server down to the dumps. It’s a shame.

Having 60v60 fights in this game is impossible it causes skill delay, it’s just 1 spam which is why most guilds prefer to run in 20-40 ppl max and try not to concentrate the entire zone in one position on one commander. If you do concentrate all the zone on one commander the only efficient response from the other server IF they want to defend objectives from you is to do the same thing. this causes these huge unplayable 60-90v60-90 lagfests.

I would advise you to run multiple zones/raids don’t run as large numbers if you want to avoid lag. I guess you are already doing that though… what a HUGE guild :p

For the stuff above with Playandchie, yes. It was just funny to see him being Redukted.

I want to say this blob discussion is kitten but w/e. If you want to blob then do it, if you don´t want to then don´t, but don´t come here to cry because others do and got results with that. Every server blobs now and then and there is no fking problem with that (besides lag). If you want GvG go blame Anet for not having it ingame yet.

This being said, from my everyday experience in SFR i get kitten because we split in 2/3 raids most times. Results ? We can´t take anything against other servers because they got the so called “blobs” defending. Sometimes we even fail to defend our objectives because we don´t have a nice “blob”, and commanders wipe in different timings etc.

Did you ever realise that we have a max qeue of 5 min on 1 or 2 bl in primetime?
Lets split up on 3 borders and let 15 IRON fight there vs T3 keeps and towers and 2-4 guild teams?

We got wooden towers and keeps, why even bother to defend? If vz or sfr need 50 people you can get there within 2 min. and facerub the gate down. Dont start talking about tactics…. Its easy talking with a kittenload of guilds on your server.

@ the BG commander, its nice to see your commander buff ingame. I now know why you qq so much vs IRON on the forums. You get killed within 20 sec everytime we fight. Go Go commander hunters
