I love the WvW games, I play it a ton and hope to continue. However I am not sure how me or others can not just get burnt out from week long match after match aftermatch with out a chance to chill, or do other parts of the game if they wish.

If we made these games Fri – Monday and shut it down for 3 days I feel the longevity of the WvW games will last longer. It gives Servers a few days to get ready for a match and if people take a few days off they are more likely to play for the 3-4 days its live etc…

I just think as is this will burn out most if of the WvW community. Also 3-4 day matches would give a lot more competitive results IMO base don what I have seen that is about when games are decided

I also think Anet would get more participation day-day over a long weekend match as there is a shorter window to participate.

Totally agree I don’t even use trebs anymore it’s a waste of time you get nothing for the most boring job on the battlefield there is.

This is also true for a lot of things however. Truth is GW2 rewards damage and killing only. Sad story.

Agree, ANET missing the point of team play in many ways. Trebling, sitting at defensive locations, running supply. How about a badge or two for that based on time or damage or fixing broken walls? Its all about killing other players that’s why the Zergs are the only real thing people want to do.

Give me a badge for reapairning a wall 5 times, or sitting on a treb for 15 minutes or sitting at a tower for 30 mintes upgrading and reporting in on activity??

In Arbotrstone BL now, we trying to get our Keep back Vs Arbor and their entire 50+ zerg while VZ attacks us form SW flank. All day everyday this is how you gutless servers play and your awful

Please, stop these 2 vs 1 allusions. The alliance didn’t last one day. As it’s a 1 vs 1 vs 1, you will always have the impression you’re attacked by the 2 others as if they work together, because when one side is weak, you attack it. We had the impression AS were focusing us all week too. Plus, you are second, so you are just in the middle, which is the worst place, because the firsts don’t want you to take their place, and thirds want to take yours.

I think Desolation didn’t think it would be a challenge, and is disappointed. You are good, but we are not bad either you know.

This is laughable, your delusional if you cant see their was some alliance maybe not 100% of the time but certainly 80% of the WvW time you FR servers were working together.

Its also ridiculous you gripe about a US Guild playing on Deso giving them some night coverage, the past 3 nights VS has had more night crew than Deso has had, seems any resistance at your night activity is a bad thing for you.

Funny watching Arbor get shafted by VZ, they were left high and dry in that alliance they have.

Looking at the maps past few days, shows Arbor taking VZ assets regularly while Arbor seems to hold off on taking VZ stuff.

Guess they are happy with 3rd place as long as their sister server gets first?

Was that the deal? Get VZ 1st at your expense?

Last I checked Ruin is part of Deso like all the other guilds helping
