Guild Wars 2

Hi there =) I am a long time player looking for a new guild as I have not really been a part of one in quite some time. I am EST time zone and normally active mid day hours or early evening/night hours.

I have some experience in all game modes currently. I am on Devonas Rest atm, but transferring over time if I get along with you well is not an issue IF you wvw a lot. I can’t say I prefer one game mode over another honestly and would be willing to join a pvx guild as well as one that just specializes in one aspect.

My main thing is I want a guild I can play with that is very very social and friendly. I would also prefer a guild who still utilizes guild chat as well as a ts3 or discord channel, as I’m not always really into voip chatting. I do however have both applications and a working mic.

I am a semi casual to serious player. I value having fun, joking around, friendly banter etc, above being super hardcore. However I know how to play and can do my part. I am fine with a super casual guild though if I peak anybodies interests. I also don’t mind your rep req. I am a pretty dedicated player so 100%-0% rep is just fine by me.

Not entirely sure what i should be looking for in here considering I do not suffer from any latency or lag. I simply disconnect without warning. Also, I’m in NA, not EU.

I encounter about one disconnect per hour in open world environments and also disconnect at every attempt to run a dungeon or a tpvp ranked match. When i disconnect in open world i can get right back in. When i disconnect in a dungeon it doesn’t let me back in until the dungeon group has either completed the run or kicked me out. When i disconnect from Ranked tpvp i cannot log back in until the match is over. When logging back in it goes through all the loading screens and tries to load the zone but after about 1 minute of loading it gives me one of two error messages.

Network error. The inability to connect to Guild Wars 2 may be caused by Internet routing issues or a server network failure.

The disconnection only occurs with guildwars2, things like teamspeak, or streaming music remain unaffected on the same computer. I’ve tried forwarding ports 80, 443, 6112, and 6600. I’ve attempted using port triggering instead of forwarding. I’ve attempted running as admin and putting my computer in the router’s DMZ. I’ve even tried taking down the entire network firewall and removed all security software from my computer. I’ve gone as far as to do a complete format on my computer, reinstall guildwars2. None of the many suggestions i’ve tried have had any effect or changed the frequency in which i disconnect. Is there any remedy to this type of disconnect or way to find out where the disconnection is being caused?

As title says, I main guard, either support Alt. Healing spec for group bunk, or medi bunk for home point defense. Looking for friendly people (or set team) to play with that can also be competitive and work as a team. Have TS. I am EST, normally available 11am – 1 pm OR 7pm and later. Currently ranked 800ish on leader boards if that matters to you at all (though it varies, as I play causally with friends as well as competitively in teams) Can reach me in game through mail, or on forum.
