Are like an ethic quiz. Of course you can choose each of the 3, but I mean come on, everyone knows the correct answer.
Half of the traits are just not in line with efficiency/power/reward/whatever you call it. They are just not worth when compared to other choices of the 3.
The trait lines themselves are fine… But we all know that:
Marksmanship= Beast Master’s bond(Call of the Wild), Signet, Remorseless
Skirmishing= Quick Draw
Wilderness= Condi Cleanse
Nature Magic= Protective Ward
Beast Mastery= the only balanced traitline where you have to make a choice
I hope they’ll do some maths to adjust the traits post-update. Some traits are just unattractive and inefficient at the same time. They might have been attractive if they were more powerful. But currently… No one’s ever going to use any ress trait or Soften the Fall.
yep. i don’t even see zerglings using those traits… but even some of the core specialization minor and major (even some of of the grandmaster traits) are lackluster and aren’t gonna be chosen over others. that’s the way things usually are but there are other traits that we would like to see go before Hide in Plain Sight.
It should be added to Shared Anguish, which somehow went from Adept to Master without any buff.
The only problem is that Shared Anguish has a 60s cooldown, but Hide in Plain Sight has a 30s cooldown.
So either the cooldown should be lowered to 30s, or the stealth should be 6s to compensate.
Very strange to see it go, especially because they only recently buffed it to allow movement while camouflaged. Why spend time on it if you’re going to remove it later anyway?
Right?! I was so happy to see the buffs, knowing that i didn’t have to stand there playing possum til they somehow forgot where they CC’d me? Lol, at any rate what you’re suggesting sounds fine. I don’t care how it would be incorporated into the new core traits (as long as it’s reasonable) as long as we could still have access to it…
Anet, with all of the upcoming changes to traits for the new core specializations, a lot of traits are going out of the window. most of the changes i can agree with, but one specifically bugs me as you’re getting rid a very good trait. grandmaster worthy to me, even. I am talking about the trait Hide in Plain Sight. Me and many other rangers i know would be very sad to see this trait completely go, it may not be used by very many players mainly due to the fact that everyone likes to run whatever is meta, but for us other players that enjoy the awesome utility this trait has to offer, it sucks to see Anet has no plans to keep it in the core specialization for ranger. Hide in Plain Sight really helps us very squishy longbow rangers get out of some sticky situations where we would probably just die instantly without it. Me and a few other asura warriors have confirmed that the Flurry skill for asura warriors, when used on any tier of adrenaline, only does damage 3-4x (4 max) on targets in PVP. The Flurry animation starts, and the asura warrior hits the target 3-4x then stops doing damage while finishing the animation and not doing any damage for the remainder of the time that he’s suppose to be doing damage. Flurry is suppose to do 8 hits on tier 1 of adrenaline, 10 hits on tier 2, and 12 hits on tier 3. On asura warriors the Flurry skill only hits 3-4 times no matter what tier it’s on. We need this bug fixed badly
I think it’s a very positive thing for the game. There will be tens of thousands of people that will be introduced to the game because of him streaming and enjoying it. I believe this to be a huge amount of free advertisement. No better time than right before an expansion too.
I completely agree. I couldn’t care for the guy but, you can’t say that it hasn’t impacted the games popularity a bit (or at least reintroduced it to people).

Once while selling stuff in la tp someone whispered me telling me she’s a girl and needs gold for a precursor. I asked which one? she said spark. Then i asked how much gold does she need? I have 15 gold is that enough??? Whispering stopped.
Naming and shaming isn’t allowed on the forums. Regardless ‘how bad’ someone is. Best to just report that person anonymously in-game.

Well, defrauding other players is. Compare with scammers who trick people out of valuable items. While the items don’t get restored, the scammers get banned or at least punished.
Not only does someone with that much AP have much better legit ways to make money, s/he clearly knew s/he was scamming based on the comment to OP about it only needing to “work” on some people.
Oh yes. I know the stance on scammers. I just don’t believe beggars fall into that category. Regardless of their AP status or not, nobody that gives money to any of them is fooled in such a way that they believe they’re getting their money back in any way… right? If its a new player that is too lazy to play the game or if its a veteran that is just getting some giggles out of it, the giver will be down the same amount of money that they want to hand out.
Perhaps I’ll never understand why beggars should be banned in this game.

Hahaha, yeah man these guys are everywhere. They’ve just been more frequent these past couple weeks and it’s so easy to find out they don’t need gold… one guy i read in map chat asking for gold, because he’s “new” (i remarked at his character name), i then run past him and see his two legendary weapons equipped. probably how he got them, haha

I just found his attempt humorous, because these guys are around all the time, people know about them and laugh at the attempt, so I posted my experience and have since then blacked out all the names I so ignorantly left unblackened previously. ||||| In all the hours I’ve spent playing Guild Wars 2 I’ve come across both clever and hilariously obvious attempts at scams, get rich quick schemes, and beggars alike. If there is a way to make gold people will find it, that’s a given, no matter how unorthodox and inefficient. One of those ways is people pretending to be new so players will send them money to help them out. Now, it’s very obvious to tell if someone’s new, just check their AP. The guy in the attached screens probably didn’t think that far into his begging for silver (of all things, what did he expect to get a 20s per hour from different toons?) but him being caught is funny nonetheless.
ahh thanks for the reply mate, and no ive made peace with the hunched over charr, i meant the best model that gave the least HUMP back, haha. i think ive found a good one though last night. i was just curious as to the npc models cause a lot of them look downright kitten. but its fine, they all stand relatively the same anyway.
So recently decided to make a charr warrior, having played a guardian and wanting to change into something more, kitten monster truck of damage. charr seemed perfect, but while trying to create one i had one issue, trying to find the right physique on the male charr. one that didnt make me look like the hunchback of notre dame, specifically the physique on, i think, every male charr npc. so if anyone knows what physique that would be i would love to find out, or if anyone has an opinion on what the physique that could be, help is much appreciated since they have armor on and its hard for me to tell.
