As much as I hate to say it, D3’s auction house is by far superior and much more polished than GW2’s trading post. Perhaps we can learn something from them.
And also increase maximum guild capacity, there are quite a number of guilds which have to make branch guilds because they have exceeded the 500 limit. GW2 is constantly growing and so are its guilds. A limit of mere 500 is way not enough imo.
And then ppl when making groups for dungeons will just shout something like “lf1m must have full mf gear”. This goes against the game’s philosophy of everyone having equal opportunities when it comes to things like dungeon runs.
My take on MF? It should never exist in the first place, because it encourages grinding and farming, which this game is NOT about.
Regarding the commander title, I believe others have mentioned this before but I think the game TERA has something we can learn from. It has a political system where players get to vote on their leaders from time to time. This could be applied to GW2’s commander title where commanders are chosen for their merits and not their wealth.
Here is an example.
Voting will take place every 3 weeks, in which 20 commander spots will be opened to each server. Players above the level 40 will be able to vote in the election. One vote per account.
For the candidates, in order to qualify they must meet several requirements.
They must be level 80.
They must be the leader/officer of a level 6 guild.
They must pay a registration fee of 10g and 100 badges of honor.
Voting can take place via either in game system or on the official forums (depending on which method is more feasible)

you can ask a friend of yours to help you out, like a mesmer with the portal skill etc etc
As a commander, I’ve to ask… why?
Because most of them are woeful at strategy, average at PvP and are full of there own self-importance.
I really hate that Commander is bought with 100g. Anet really could have made this great; it could have been a political system like Tera, where commanders are limited to, say, 10 per server and need to be voted for. Or as part of the guild upgrade system. Or through the achievement system by completing a number of PvP-focused achievements…
and so on.
Agreed, now ppl are just using the commander title to show off how wealthy they are, worse still, most of them are terrible at WvW.
Agreed, the current loot system in wvw is just too clumsy.
