The honor of the /bow or /wave was not only abused but destroyed. There were multiple of us that could have made your life hell in the JP… but let you go.. then you /wave and /bow followed by attack? These kittens get you no free ride again from me. You had a Mesmer there.. you know who they were… so you just earned getting abused in JP… No honor amongst jerks.

I personally will never understand why in a game people fight for second place. When 3rd helps 1st to take down 2nd. 3rd and 2nd should Always team up to beat down #1 as far as possible then fight it out. 2nd place is the #2 loser. Every time I see Ehmry attack Yaks, while DB has easily takeable objectives.. it boggles my mind. You take more of #1 than us, then not only are you gaining on 1st, but second as well. Not complaining.. I like barreling into you guys and being killed by a few well placed strikes.. it is a game, but I don’t understand why you guys are not playing to win rather than place?

Here’s why…if you’re vsing a server you cant beat one on one…like our current matchup. Neither YB or EB can take DBs night crew, its more than both ours combined. Now if we teamed up to gank DB, then one server will have to concede 1st place to the other…otherwise soon as we start fighting each other for first, DB steps in and rolls over us both. So either we realize our servers limitations and hold to that…or we concede to the other. Im sure nobody on either server is willing to concede 1st place.

By your own logic.. you already conceded first place. Now you are just fighting for first loser (second). By double teaming the number 1 team in their off hours, and beating them back, you narrow the distance between 1st , 2nd and 3rd. Then, once you see a chance to actually overtake them, you begin to maneuver to be the one to do so. Right now, Ehmry is fighting to be the 2nd place team that loses by only 30k, by attacking YB so much during the day instead of against a dominant night time server, aka the team that is kicking your stuffings out.

Well, other than a brief trip into the WvW for my monthly, Yesterday was my first extended time in EB.. and I had a blast. I have not done much PvP in other games because of the pettiness and name calling that seems to go hand in hand with it, but I enjoyed the co-operative play from my YB teammates and some pretty good direction from the Commanders. Probably 10 hours almost straight through and it made me realize I need to learn a lot about other classes at 80. I did not see any teaming up with another server (we were trying to kick everyones behind), or anything I would say was a hack, although some players seem to be able to move very fast. Getting booted and some awful lag was really the only downside and I got from @70 kills up to 500ish (not great, but not awful for a new pvper I guess).. so I think I found something fun to do other than craft on alts. So thanks for the good time and looking forward to seeing more of you all on the battlefield, and learning to recognize you by Armor since I cannot see names and I know at least 1 Thief and 1 Mesmer I owe considerable payback to.

Yeah… I have to join several others.. I trashed the boosters I had saved up for alts.. for 34 chests of corn.. and polyjuice potions.. If one let me turn into an adult Hermoine.. fine.. but they are all just dead versions of all the hundreds of potions I have. 70 + BLC and 34 master chests and I got a couple skill 100 yellows.. and nada. Super Bummed… I have been so high on this game.. (would have 4 referrals if they had em) and yet.. I feel my joy turned to ash in my mouth. What a drag. 1 thing I could carry forward with me in the game.. other than free horns.. 1.. and I would have been.. well… not disgusted.

Just adding my 2 copper. I am of a similar mindset to quite a few in this thread. I was not expecting to get every item, but after being a fairly regular user of the gem shop previously.. I will not be giving my greenbacks for anything else in game again.. Well over 50 chests today, and not a whiff of anything from the event has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I really enjoy GW2, but that just smacks of a greedy, borderline sadistic mindset. I know the chests are gambling, but you have to support players who participate in the cash shop that earns money for the game. By making something so expensive/rare that you turn off that portion of your player base, you are just shooting yourself in the foot.
