Just doesn’t make sense that 1 server can out# the other 2 servers on every single borderland….

I thought it was suppose to make all the teams even once they reach queue.
We had a queue for our main BL. When we finally got in, our whole server side had about 40 people while the enemy server had TWO zergs of 35-40 people. It didn’t make any sense and everyone was really kitten ed off that we’re getting queue line but still outnumbered by a large amount.

I assumed the system worked like this:
activate queue for server X once server X has 75 players

But it seems to work more like this:
Activate queue once total map population reaches XYZ. Each server must have minimum of 25% of XYZ. After that, it’s first come, first serve.

Let’s say the cap is 240. Once each server has 25% (for example) of 240 (60), then it’s first come first serve for entrance. That means Server D could have 65, server E has 65 and Server F has 110…
Cause this is exactly what it felt like all day today.
across all 4 borderlands, blue server outnumbered everyone ON EACH BORDERLAND! They had our server (red) and green server below 90 ppt most of the night cause they had 2-3x our (and greens) #s of players.

The Queue system seems completely broken. We were getting queue timers to enter our home BL. When we finally get it in, we had 30-40 total at best, while SF had TWO TO THREE zerg groups at 20-30+…
Every single BL we went to, SF had 2-3x our #s.
If there’s a queue, aren’t the teams suppose to be even?? Sure as hell wasn’t the case all night.
It is getting tiring being matched up against servers that have 2-3x our wvw population on every BL.
I’m seriously considering server hopping or just switching to dungeons and spvp

Have ascended jewely and weapons, exotic armor.

I’m currently venom burst dagger/pistol + pistol/dagger.

No clue what i’m doing wrong but I get outbursted by every class and it seems like I barely do any damage.
I’ll pop all venoms, and unload on someone and they’re still 50-75% health. Then they’ll kill me in 2-kittens. There’s no class for me that is easy, I get kitten d by all.
Meanwhile I see other thiefs destroying people in 2-4 hits and I have no clue how they’re doing it.

wtf am I doing wrong?

A guild that has an organized structure and uses strategies. Squads, missions, EVERYONE on TS/Vent/etc.

I have commander tag, ascended jeweler and weapons. I just want to be with people who take wvw/pvp serious like I do. My current server has no guild like this…
I can transfer.

Yeh I’m gonna stay with the Guardian and Engie.
Gonna delete the Elem and Warrior (after salvaging all their stuff).
Gonna salvage and strip the thief so I don’t play him (except the ascension ring). I feel I can’t delete the thief due to 475 weaponsmith and 100% map exploration. Just gonna make it a mule item holder and crafter for now.

I have 5 80s and just finished filling them all out with exotics.
There are a couple issues I’m having now with this:
1) being mediocre in skill due to not focusing on 1 class. Even with all exotic gear, I get steamrolled constantly. I always forget how to play whatever class I’m on since I char switch so much. It’s getting annoying now getting destroyed in 3 secs because I forgot what skills I had and what my traits were.

2) The constant need to play only GW2, due to a char always needing improvement. Also the huge gold sink of having 5 chars always needing improvements.

Chars I have:
thief with 1 ascension ring. 475 Weaponsmith, 400 LW
guardian, 425 artif, 400 armorer
engineer, 425 huntsman, 400 jeweler
warrior, 400 chef
elem, 400 tailor

I enjoy engineer, Ele and guardian the most.
I suck with thief and warrior. I have no clue how people are so good with them.
I’m tempted to delete the thief and warrior and maybe 1 more, but losing the ascension ring and 475 smith on thief is hard to swallow.
I know I could simply NOT delete them, but I don’t have much restraint and if a char is there, I’ll play them.
I rather focus on 2 chars and learn those 2 at expert level.

Suggestions?

And I don’t know if it’s my server, but 1 of the reason I started these alts is there’s no one in the high level zones besides bots. But then there’s no one in the low level zone either…. did THAT many people stop playing?

So my main is full exotic gear and only thing to do is grind wvw/spvp or work towards legendaries. Only wvw is fun (sometimes) and the other 2 are pointless time sinks.

I’ve started alts and am having fun with the exception that NO ONE IS IN THE LOWER LEVEL ZONES… Feels like a single player game now.

But anyways, I’m now thinking if it’s even worth it to level these alts to 80 or should I just focus on my main….

What they need to do is decide whether this game is pvp or pve. Trying to be both limits the game.
I’d like if they just focus pvp and expand its potential.
Land claiming and fort creating. Ability to raid other clans forts/land and take it permanently until they get it back.
They should take all the good parts of EVE and Warhammer online and tweak it for this game.

If this game tries to be a big PvE game, it just wont work.

been 80 a couple weeks now. Just finished world explore feat. Finished my last piece of exotic level gear.
Kinda bored honestly. Feel like there’s only 3 things to do:
Spvp, wvw or dungeon grind.
dungeons are very un-appealing to me. Big reason why I left WoW.
Spvp is about 20% fun and 80% frustration
WvW is tons of fun, but it boring because either A) we own almost everything and the enemies dont bother trying or we lost everything and no bothers trying to cap.
I think only 1 week so far was wvw a constant back and forth and none of the servers had a huge % of map.

I might try an alt, but there’s no way in hell I’m doing world explore again. Vistas made me want to almost quit the game a few times.

So… what exactly is there to do? Or are those the only 3 options now?
