Hey Natural and Wildchild:D.. My guild/server is looking for players exactly like you two. We’re on Darkhaven and our server is completely rallying right now since the last tourny. Not too long ago we were second to last in bronze, and we’re now passing GoM at the #1 bronze spot as we look into moving into silver tier! Our server needs more people like y’all as more and more guilds are rising to the challenge of becoming forces on our server. 8:00-11:00EST is generally our server’s prime time but we obviously have activity for multiple hours before and after that. Our GW2 guild, [MEAN] has been around since launch of GW2, but our actual guild, Vindictive, has been together for over 7 years. We have a huge core group of not only players, but friends. MEAN is not only one of the coolest guilds around (try to find a person on Dh that doesn’t like them, you’ll fail), they’re one of the most skilled in bronze easily. Whether it be in duels, 5v5s, or zerg busting, they are simply top notch quality. Amazing guild, highly recommended!

Cool. Im working till 2:30 est then ill be on. What times do yu usually gather? And the necro i use is a might stack/ vuln debugf power build. very tanky hits hard too. I also play staff ele i just might need some guidance because i dont main ele. My fav class is ranger and i can adapt to any class but i pref not warrior or guard.

Both Necros and staff Eles are really good classes:D… Our primetime is usually, (basically reset time), 5-9 west coast or 8-12 east coast. But many of us are on all throughout the day doing things.

And of course we can offer any guidance you need :p

Hey i jst posted on a different MEAN thread. Intersted in joining im from FA but i can transfer. I play ele necro ranger. Followed by thief mesmer engi. And i dnt bother with guard and war. All lvl 80 exos at least. Lookin for some small group wvw stuff.

Not gonna lie, our ‘small group stuff’ is our strongest asset :p… We have REALLY good 2v2-5v5 teams. Our main focus right now is zerg busting with 15-25 people, but we always roam in the offtime when our guild ops isn’t happening. I’ll send you a msg in game and you can see if we’re what you’re looking for!

[MEAN] Is now recruiting! We’re an organized zerg busting unit aiming to be the TOP guild in silver. We pride ourselves in fearing no fights, regardless of numbers. We usually run ~15 deep as we throttle zergs. We’re now expanding until we reach ~25 organized at once. Help us bring Darkhaven FURTHER into silver tier! >:D (Recruiting as a hardcore WvW guild, but we also do lots of PvP and PvE like dungeons/fractals daily on the side/downtimes when we aren’t raiding.)

Rules:

-Must be 18+

-Must rep [MEAN] when inside WvW (open world repping is not mandatory)

-Must have Teamspeak capabilities (listening and speaking)

-Must be able to try new classes for our particular zerg busting unit if you don’t have one that fits with how we roll. Obviously we won’t tell you what exactly to play, but we will definitely persuade you and offer to gear you if it will help our unit:D.

-Must be okay with joining our GvGs, raids, etc, on a regular basis.

-ABSOLUTELY NO GREY TEXT IN WvW!! We do not tolerate this childish insulting business. We’re very serious about what we do, but of course we have fun doing it>:D, so /laugh /dance etc etc is not what we’re about.

Open recruitment will last until we fill the holes we need or gain the activity level that we currently desire. We will probably recruit 5-10 active people for now and see where that leads us!

I wouldn’t say that it’s low.. It’s simply strategic for servers to try and sway other guilds to them.. Especially with free transfers before seasons, although we’ll see whether or not that continues. Hell, we appreciate the recognition. But anyways, let’s try to keep this topic on track.

MEAN is recruiting on a small scale and we’re interested in helping players get geared up with proper group play builds to enhance and continue our guilds contribution to WvW/zerg busting as well as improving our organized small-medium scale roaming.

Here’s my 2 cents as a 99% pvper nowadays…

This map is crap. The laser idea is great, I love it, but the fact that you can die from a simple crowd control is absolute garbage. I’ll be 1v1ing or 2v1ing people, almost get them downed, ‘or downed for that matter,’ and all of the sudden BAM knockback or feared into a hole or off the edge. HOW IS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE PVP!? Necros with that 5 second fear?… instant death if my clear conditions are on cool-down. Now I know that everybody’s gonna say, “well that’s how this map works, deal with it.” but it’s not like pvp at all! It’s like a mini-game at best! I like to pvp every day… With this new map I’m not going to be able to pvp for 2 full days with this map in the rotation because I hate it that much. My build means nothing when a rank 1 can spam knockbacks on me. Okay, it’s a fun/interesting map, BUT REMOVE THE THING FROM TOURNY ROTATIONS. It doesn’t effect how good any player is or how good their build is. Sure, put it in the free-play availability, but this is JUNK in tournaments. It’s not true pvp.

I’m in. Put me down for 1g!

Well then I guess I’ll be transmuting it. If ascended weapons come out and I don’t get the stats, I suppose I’ll transmute the ascended stats onto the Twilight skin.

So I’ve heard many things, but I’d like a black and white answer if anybody can give one… I have Twilight, I don’t want it’s stats. If I transmute it to a berserker or knight’s exotic greatsword but keep the skin, will the stats change to ascended when the ascended weapons come out?

Got my commander tag last week so we’ll be doing a lot more of that now.. Map circling for karma/ranks/etc. I’ll be putting together a CoE group later too for multiple runs a day. Moarrr charged lodestones pl0x;)

Fractals lvl 10 runs errrrday. Got two of my rings so far, next is back piece.. Come join the fun and get your levels up!

I’m from Darkhaven as well… Haha

So I had a wild idea to try guesting onto a different server to see if maybe it was just my home server’s issue. I tried guesting to Crystal Desert, logged in, and it worked perfectly fine.

I’m having the same problem. Can’t login to blazeridge steppes, map location info doesn’t appear under map name on the load screen, and after a while I get the error message to try re-logging in a few minutes

Still looking for some new members to join our guild missions, WvW, dungeoning/farming, etc. If you’re interested in joining us, feel free to message one of my chars down below. Love to have ya:) – No sexual reference intended.

Next guild bounty mission tomorrow – We get more commendations tomorrow too;) – PS. We finally moved up a bracket in WvW last week and we’re trying to rally up our forces to keep up with the new servers. We would love to get everyone into the swing of it if you’re interested! Basically I want to farm some corrupted lodestones in frostgorge.. I’m pretty good at farming and grinding, and all I want to do is run my little path, kill everything, then run back and kill as I go. I’ll be killing corrupted quagans and icebrood collossus… That’s it…

What I want to know:

How does DR actually work? What causes you to start getting it?.. How long does it last?.. Can I avoid it by way-pointing to a new location/map? If so, how long will I need to be away from my farming spot?.. Any -known- advice would be amazing. I’ve heard MANY stories of how DR might work, but so far I’ve seen no solid evidence/proof of how all of this works.

If you’re looking for a friendly mid-sized guild that will help anyone level, craft, gear up, or just have fun, you need to look into Vindictive. We’re active every day with !WvW!, dungeons, speed runs, gold camping, map clearing, fractals, spvp, you name it.

I myself, Olcan Wight, am very active in WvW and would LOVE anyone to come and join us so I can show y’all the ropes. It’s probably my favorite part of GW2;).

As for the guild as a whole, we’re really starting to look into more recruitment for more guild influence so we can get all the goods for us. We have our own ventrilo and we’d love to have you with us for some fun!
