The guild WvW team will be hosting a beginner WvW training tomorrow before reset (7:30pm EST). Come join us if you’re hesitant or overwhelmed in WvW. There’s still time to sign up and join us!

During this workshop, we will be covering the following:

1. What is WvWvW and how do we win? Points/score explained
2. Supply! What is it, where do you get it, what is it for??
3. Dolyaks – The role they play, and how to help them!
4. Third Party NPC’s and the roles they play
5. Towers/Keeps/Castles/Supply Camps – Upgrades & Differences
6. Defensive tactics, including defensive siege placement
7. Offensive tactics, including offensive siege placement
8. World XP, WvW ranks and new abilities
9. Advanced siege placement, advanced map tactics
10. Anything else that randomly strikes as important
11. Q & A

Have you been wanting to WvW, but are hesitant due to its size, scope and many moving parts? Myself and our GM, Sinner (Chaosx), will be hosting a hands-on beginner’s tutorial to WvW this Sunday, March 10 at 9pm EST! Everything you’ll want to know about WvW. Then join the guild on our WvW nights Friday, Saturday and Monday. We have many friendly members willing to help, and groups for any style of play.

There’s still time to join us for WvW before the reset! We’ll be rushing in an several organized groups right as the servers open up. Our WvW nights has room for those that like to run with a larger offensive group as well as smaller strike teams that will branch off from the larger group to take more targeted objectives.

Separately, we also had many of our members donate gold for influence as we unlock guild missions. We have a large and always active PvE contingent to the guild, and will be constantly participating in guild missions. Whatever your style, we got you covered. Come join us!

Today Cynical’s PvE Officers will be hosting the guild’s first naked dungeon race! Teams will strip down to their underwear and weapons and racing through a dungeon to be revealed a the last minute. This is one of many fun events our officers have planned coming up in the next few weeks/months. Come join us! Even I will take part in the mayhem.

And of course I would be doing the guild a disservice if I didn’t mention our growing force in WvW since moving to TC. On Friday we formed two strike teams (one led by myself) along with a larger offensive force and a defensive group. When we were needed, we formed up as a guild to hold the KGBL Bay against wave after wave of KG and BG, even with no supply camps. It was some of the most fun I’ve had in WvW. We’ve love for more to join us.

Awesome fight at KGBL Bay. Felt like every time we managed to push one server back out of the inner walls, the next was right outside the lord’s room waiting to attack. And BG used the good but frustrating strategy of cutting off our supply and making it hard to reinforce. Looking forward to the rest of the week. Cheers!

As others have already said, we have dedicated nights for dungeons, sPvP and WvW so there’s a crowd for everything. And groups are always forming during the weekends as well. You never have to be shy about asking.

But really what sets us apart is the people. There’s always someone on to talk to or rant about thieves to. Cool people. Come check us out.

I’m new to GW2 as of yesterday. Was looking for a potential guild to start with in this game with a PvP focus. I played WoW on and off and mostly focused on casual/hardcore end-game raiding. I’m hoping to try something different and a little less time intensive in GW2 and focus on PvP. I’ve tried the warrior, elementalist, ranger, thief and mesmer to a limited extent and am willing to play any that will help round out or benefit the guild.
