I am planning a new Skritt character to introduce, though a very dynamic type of personality. Looking at options, video capture is probably the best way to present, but I am unfamiliar with the popular video-game capture programs. And some are outlandishly expensive. I am looking for a program that is capable of high resolution capture (dropped fps rates don’t matter because it is not for showing combat play) and is reasonably price, ie under 40 US dollars.

Any suggestions on programs? I have heard of Frap, but reviews aren’t exactly favorable. At the moment, one called “Action!” seems to be a better choice, review-wise.

This seasonal feeling of ‘doing good’ always hits around this time of year. And I’ve noticed it among the player base of Guild Wars 2. As a matter of fact, upon sending someone a gift earlier today, they reciprocated with a gift of their own to me. Seeing such kindness, I figured “Well, why not keep it going?”

And noticing how people are trying to find specific items, and farming till their fingers are about to fall off, the idea drew itself from the ether, a.k.a. from some insane thought.

Dye Choices

She is wearing three of the colors from the wide known range of tones. In fact, three of 457 known colors.

What will make this difficult is that a guess, to be a winner, must have the three (3) colors in the same guess!

Each guess involves three tones. For example:

You get ten guesses (10), which are up to 30 colors!

To play, send me in-game a MAIL (not a private message or post on this forum) with your guesses. Include your ten guesses, each guess with three colors. You may try as often as you wish!

If you want to increase your odds, by sending me fifty (50) presents (of any size), your color choices will include all the colors immediately adjacent to your selected tones. In most cases, this will form a box of 8 colors around your picked tone. Image two shows an example of such.

By sending one hundred (100) presents (of any size), your color choices will include all colors that line up vertically and horizontally within the batch of your color choice. The third image shows an example of this.

Winning Condition
As already mentioned, the winner will be the first person to correctly name all three colors in the same guess. It will not count if you pick 30 colors, and the three colors are correctly named but spread out throughout your ten guesses. Choices posted on this forum, or sent in “private message” do not count.
