i see a lot of crying players on this WvW forum, its main difference (i im rly surprised they are from pro guilds)

Don’t you get it? The ‘pro’ guilds want to fight players, not stand next to trebs and (maybe?) catas and watch it endless animation for hours on end. Give me 1 reason, just 1 reason why the enemy should leave a tower/keep to fight in the open?

This game is now siege wars, not pvp at all, just siege vs structure. And when you finally busted that gate, you get insta melted by the AC concentration. There is 0 fun left in WvW. I hope the big/ good guilds step up and decide to change to game themselves, meaning move to bottem servers and go for GvG and not for points.

They aren’t pro guilds. Maybe a few players in those guilds make money from streaming but thats about it. There aren’t any full guild worth lifting my eyelids for in this game like there are in other games. There is this PvP in this game where there are no trebs at all. Its called sPvP. Where are these so called “pro guild”? In WvW running the karma train. They are just amateurs who want their egos stroked to feel like they are awseome in game. WvW is not designed to be a truly competitive format. Thats what sPvP was and is for.

Your kidding aren’t you? If you do not understand why this has a completely different mechanic and role in battle of kyhlo to what it does in WvW I don’t think I’ll bother trying to explain it to you.

How can I misunderstand something as clueless as “There is this PvP in this game where there are no trebs at all. Its called sPvP.” If you ever played sPvP you will clearly see trebs on one of the maps. Stop lying pls.

Good job buffing Nightcapping Arenanet. I know you guys have been telling us that WvW is intended to work like this since the beginning but shoving it down our throats like this is kinda over the top. All this sweet talk about big WvW changes and updates really had me fooled tho, since I actually thought things were going to get more enjoyable, I mean its not like we had to suffer through queues, skill lag, crashes and culling just to get anything good at the other side. Naah instead you break the game!! Well played arenanet well played, you really fooled me atleast.

“Votf are constantly with us with they are not running their events and help us a lot with tips and ideas and personally would love them to lead us sometimes as they play a much smaller open fight tighter guild and are very skilled at it.”

Im one of the members VoTF “stole” from SFR and I can tell you the SFR we left a couple of months back are not the same SFR that I used to love and fight for. Some of my best memories from GW2 is when SFR fought against Riverside and Baruch as underdogs and still somehow managed to pull through, something a french might call “Vizunah Spirit” :P. ALL efforts from every guild was counted, during reset meeting we were prompted to sign up to “the list” even if we only had around 5-10 active in our guilds. But the old “pirate” days of SFR are gone, the serverpride is gone, the heart is gone, the underdog feeling is gone. Its just another bandwagoner server just like I used to view Desolation in the beginning. The original SFR community treasured every bit of effort a PUG put in, the extra arrowcart that nobody would build, the ram that would get instantly nuked, the trebber who trebbed down walls only to see his keep overrun by zergy germans. None of this was left when we decided to transfer off SFR, and it seems none of it have returned. All I can see from my old server is elitist bullcrap and Ive never regretted one bit that I left.

All the good things I once saw in SFR community I now see in the Deso WvW community, altho I admit to sometimes being an elitist kitten when someone drops a regular ram instead of a superior I would never mock that person, I would never call out his name in /team, and I would never consider him a burden for our server, since I have no idea how much work that single person have put into dropping that regular ram. And that whats I love about our current Desolation server, every bit of effort is appreciated, every effort a so called PUG puts in is never frown down on but encouraged. People can say all they want about IRON and their “blob”, but serverpride is one thing in abundance here

Worst reset ever… I thought my old server SFR was up to a better fight but seriously… “Known” guilds running from fights. After all the bragging on this forum they just put their tail behind their leg and run.

After taking a break from EU T1 for a month on American servers I gotta say Vizunah have stepped up a bit when it comes to open field battles. Dont know if it is because of some of the new guilds that joined or just a slight change in the “Vizunah Spirit” but I think you guys are way more fun to play against now.

Its a bit sad to face my old server SFR but I dont regret one bit going Deso, I dont think we could get any better opponents to fight against when it comes to open field. And big grats on the win, you guys deserve it.

This is where you need to learn because it is WvW not PvP, killing your enemy won’t make you win by itself.

You come here saying you want to make everything to kick french people out of T1 (we still wonder why) and then you are surprised that we play the points ?

As long as your communication is all about french hate and kicking the french out of T1 there is no chance to get what you are looking for. Maybe you should consider being less patronizing and hateful towards VS it would be a better strategy to get a pleasant WvW matchup because all this crap is what makes the matchup less fun than it could be for you.

Im pretty sure that was my first post on this forum. I reread what I wrote and I couldnt really see what hateful comments I made. I merely pointed out that the game is changing, and to avoid being kicked out of T1 VS need to do the same.

How are they supposed to learn if you dont let them try? The basics of PvP is very easy, kill your enemies before they kill you. But by denying them the chance to stand up against their foes youre also denying them the chance to grow into better PvP players. Running away is and should not be a valid tactic in any PvP game.

The path your server has taken was clearly a good one at the start of the game, hence all the medals you got. But now the meta game have started to change towards more open battles and guilds duking it out on open field. When the que times started to drop and guilds could get a full raid into the preffered BL without hours of que they could also start to develop tactics to counter the endless zerg of randoms. Now those tactics are starting to show even in t1, and if you dont adapt to it I fear it will be the end of a very long era.

You should abandon your view that pugs is the greatest thing this game have ever seen and look towards WLs type of play. Otherwise your server will crumble to dust cause I guess your pugs (as most servers) will quit playing when the going gets tough, whatever spirit you might have.
