I dont think its a latency or computer problem. If I saw a red circle I probably thought it was someones spell. I didn’t know it meant move your butt someones fist is about to slam down on your head

I’m have the most problems when I’m running with the zerg. no, im not dodging there is so much going on around the boss I can’t really see whats going on. Soloing a quest is not really a problem they generally die fast enough with bombs or guns.

I’m stacking power for what its worth. Is that a mistake?

Honestly I have tried to look and see if I am making a mistake with my build but I have never seen so many opinions on builds as I have with the engineer. I came from wow and there was usually a generally accepted leveling build but here it seems like there are 50 different opinions on the matter

I’m new to the game and engineer is my first character. I’m currently lvl 25. I placed my first 10 points in bombs and my next ones are going into guns. I liked dual pistols but then I tried out bombs at lvl 20. I have been running the train a lot killing those world bosses. Bombs do amazing dps compared to my pistol but I find myself getting my rear handed to me more with bombs. I have started using a combination of the 2 now. I run in drop bombs on the bosses and then run out and swap over to ranged when I start taking damage. Is this a common way of doing things or am I making a mistake swapping in and out between bomb kit and pistol.

One other question is the healing turret any good or should I just stick with the standard heal.

thanks

Thanks for the input guys. They made a warrior and a guardian. I turned off as much of the chat as I could. Honestly they never even looked at it. They spent 90% of their 15 minutes getting stuck in a corner because they are horrible keyboard turners. Honestly I think they enjoyed making their characters more than playing them. I think they will get frustrated with the complexity fast and burn out on it after they play it a few times which I’m ok with. Thanks for everyones feedback

Oh well. I should have thought of the chat myself but I have not played an mmo in 4 or 5 years. I use to let my oldest play my hunter in wow and he loved it because it was easy and the tiger was cool. That was before he could read worth a flip so chat wasn’t an issue. Oh well more play time for me

Dumb question is it possible to turn chat off or is it always there floating across the screen? I hate global chat in games. Either way they won’t be playing unless I’m with them. It would stink if I have to not let them play because of chat issues. Thanks for the heads up either way

I’m in the process of downloading the game right now and I told my 7 and 10 year old kids they could create a character to play with. I would appreciate if you guys would share your thought on the simplest class in the game. If there is a class out there that they can mash the same 2 buttons over and over again it would probably be perfect for them. Thanks for the input.
