Yes, that is what I mean. I used to belong to a raiding guild in WoW that let me in there guild to farm but made me pay weekly because they only wanted end game, top gear players. I paid A LOT per week but enjoyed it. It made me feel like it was official and I had a lot of work to do to keep up. I love farming.
I’m serious. Let me know if you’re interested via email and we can work out the numbers and if this is what we both want.
I’ll pay via paypal btw
Looking for a guild that wants me to farm mats for them. I greatly enjoy farming mats and will take orders from guild members, fill those orders for free, and pay you weekly for my membership (and will even pay other fees such as late fees and so on). Email me if interested – delcoult2 at gmail
I can’t respond to your PM RagingDragon – I have a new account and have to wait a couple of days but will be in contact.
Assuming it is okay, I’d like to work out a long term deal with someone who has a guild. I’m currently leveling but I’ll gladly pay membership fees until I’ve hit the level cap and then start farming.
I actually enjoy the farming part. there was some mutual benefit there that I WANTED to farm and they wanted to raid. I’m still more than happy to gather for free but pay to stay.
This is probably going to sound strange to a lot of folks but I used to play WoW and paid the guild master over paypal as part of my membership.
I really enjoy gathering crafting mats and asked people in chat if there were any raiding guilds that were looking for someone who wanted to gather mats for them for free while they raided. I got a reply from someone who tried to convince me to raid but said he wasn’t interested otherwise. I offered to pay him a weekly membership fee, which took him by surprise I think because people usually do that for free. I belonged to his guild for 2 years, paid fees every week, and my guild mates mailed me orders that kept me busy which was exactly what I was looking for.
I think they all got a bit of a laugh out of the fact that I was paying and working for them for free but because it’s what I wanted out of the game, it was perfect for me. I quit playing wow because my computer was getting old but now I have a new one and picked up GW2. Also, paying was not a problem for me and in a sense made my membership feel official.
My question is, I don’t want to get booted for breaking any rules so I was wondering if arenanet has an policies against my paying a guild for membership. My old guild master billed me weekly, is it against arena net’s policies to bill someone for guild membership?
