Why aren't there more legendary weapons?

It’s always bothered me that that there 2 (or 3 counting Eternity) different legendary greatswords but every other weapons just has one legendary to craft. I’d like to think that the Twilight sword is the opposite of the Sunrise so shouldn’t all of the legendaries have counter parts or opposites? The variety of things that can done for another legendary staff are endless. I hope to see more in the future.

Better water combat/ guild ships/ fishing

I think most of the GW2 community can agree that water combat isn’t all that inviting. However, I think with a few more water activities it can become more fun. With things like fishing and ship/boat combat I feel players will be more excited about diving into the beautiful waters of Tyria. The idea of ship combat can also be transfer into wvw as well a new map for PVE players where it’s simply open ocean and pirate ships with little islands to explore.

This could also be way for a new style of combat against a new world boss. Players attack from the docks of ships using cannons and harpoon guns and work together to take down a huge sea monster. Escorting supply ships though pirate filled waters or protecting a ship of tourist from attacking sea creatures makes for good fun and better way to enjoy the beautiful world around the player.

In wvw, guilds can have ships that they sail the waters with. All wvw maps could be reached my sailing the waters and this could allow for different combat styles against worlds on and in the water. Or worlds can nettle to control the seas that also gives pints to the world that holds any given body of water. This would be great way for guilds to display their guild embalm on the sail of their ships and guard their worlds via the oceans as well.

Fishing could bring a new gathering style and also allow for another chance to collect black lion chest keys from the waters around the ruins of LA.

Just something that came to mind, I think the idea of expanding the style of combat and providing different things for players to interact with will make it all worth it.

I POSTED THIS BEFORE BUT I DIDN’T MEAN TO MAKE IT A QUESTION, SO THIS IS JUST A REPOST

Don’t get me wrong I LOVE the variety of pets that GW2 has to offer but I wish there were more to choose from. For example, as a ranger reaches certain levels or obtains a certain amount of skill points, another tier/type of pet is able to be tamed. These would be pets that were rare and hard to find. I even wish there was a magical element to the pet system to where certain stones can change the pet into an elemental. For example,
-Using a fire stone on a certain bird pet will give you a Phoenix and while using this pet the ranger inflicts burning damage
-Using a water stone on a certain pet will give it healing abilities
and etc
But not only will the skills of the pet change but its appearance is changed as well and it’s element has an effect on the rangers attacks.
Or even a system to where you can breed pets. This could be a crafting style or a way to obtain very unique pet skills or appearances.
I just have crazy imagination I guess lol I just feel GW2 could definitely take having a pet to the next lvl. How you guys feel?

EVERYONE GETS NEW WEAPONS
Guardian – Longbow
- 1200 range, mix of bleeding attacks and fast attacks
Warrior – Offhand Pistol
- 900 range high control off-weapon to allow double MH/OH kits to be a little more punishing when kited
Ranger – Rifle
- Less mobile, more raw power than shortbow
Thief – Offhand Torch
- Condition OH with lots of FIRE
Engineer – Mortar changed to elite Kit; abilities cannot be used while moving
Mortar seems kinda useless at the moment, and Engineers could use a dedicated ranged kit; this allows them to exchange their elite slot for a ranged option which is usually out of their portfolio, and without a CD or destroyable object
Necromancer – Shortbow
- Long-range single-target power weapon, low control
- Mostly so I don’t look like a complete kitten when I use the quiver back item
Elementalist – Mainhand Axe
- Permanent version of the Flame Axe 1-3, ranged single-target power
Mesmer – Mainhand Torch
- AoE focused weapon
- You look like a juggler!

I TOTALLY AGREE!!!! I sometimes wonder why a Guardian can’t use a bow and why a Ranger doesn’t use a rifle.

Although I love this idea, I don’t see it happening. It’s a lot of work that will only benefit one class. Why would they spend time implementing this when they can make new dungeons/quests that everyone can play?

My thoughts exactly. If they’ve gone this long with rangers in the state they’re in, it’s gonna be a long, long time before they do anything this extensive for just us.

Because it makes the class even more fun to play, so why not do it? It’s going to happen eventually anyway, might as well start throwing out suggestions for pets you want you see in the future.

What’s a ranger without his/her pet? That’s what makes them what they are and I truly feel like its going to happen because the pets are so basic at the moment. The same idea can be used with Necro minions. I want to see more creativity and personalization in the pets that we can acquire.
