Having the same problem. Eastern US though.

I’m on the Eastern US, in Pa and I’m having this problem. I’ve restarted my modem countless time and still nothing. It seems to jump from 60KB/sec and drops to 0, then slowly jumps to 10 and 0.

Do what i posted, with the shortcut with the argument built in, its working well for me

-assetsrv 174.35.71.9:80 seems like it is working for me, Create a SHORTCUT then PROPERTIES on taget line AFTER the quotes, SPACE then -assetsrv 174.35.71.9:80

I thought it was my ISP but my roommate which is 4 ft from me, is on with no issue

Question, did you guys buy HoT expansion, I talked to another person on FB and he didnt, having same issue, also my roomate can download fine and HAS expansion…

I have tried EVERY THING!!!!

The launcher keeps popping between 80-100-0 kbs. I cant even get to the point where you log in. I tried using a VPN and BOOM it started downloading faster, but i ran out of free VPN service, so bam, here i am again. And I did everything to trouble shoot virus protection, up to removing it completely, router settings, nothing changed, seems like last update killed it, but i cant even get it TO DOWNLOAD A NEW GAME INSTALL

I am having the EXACT same issue. My sound gets all wonky and then it drops and i see crash report from GW

As title says, in game I would get crashes at seemingly random times. Game can sit fine and run smoothly with over 70-100+ players around me but will crash unprovoked, giving me the “submit error report to Arenanet” window.

64-bit windows 7

Not a massive, makes game unplayable 100% issue but it does have an impact on gameplay by crashing me out 2 seconds before a boss dies or in the middle of Vinewrath Meta event.
