Why… why hasn’t this been hotfixed yet? One would think twelve hours is long enough…
Guild bank contents listing would be most appreciated!
Bump, can we finally get an official response as to whether this terrible deal is intended or not?
It’s a feature, not a bug!
(No really.)
Well if you’re looking for Noxious Pots, I can imagine you not finding them. Noxious Pods, on the other hand…
Keep up the good work, ArenaNet. One day you’ll get it right. *snicker*
Let’s be realistic on this one. It is very likely that they are not able to track how much influence guilds spent using the broken system – and that adding influence to the game now may simply not be possible.
As any decent developer could tell you, in any sane system, these things are tracked, and can be manually adjusted. But you’re right about being realistic: it’s silly of me to expect ArenaNet to have their ducks in a row.
Edit: And I disagree that we should just accept these things because ArenaNet doesn’t have their ducks in a row.
And regarding guilds who spent 300k influence (months and months of work) ?
That is quite subjective... under the old system, which influence is a remnant of, it is the same as 600 gold. This is roughly equivalent to the cost of two sets of ascended light armor (actually it is probably bit less). Which in turn, if you respect the time gating of ascended crafting, is 48 days.

ArenaNet, we’re still waiting for you to tell us how you’re gonna fix the hundreds of thousands of influence lost due to your buggy game. Thank you.
kitten’s complex, yada yada
Millions of lines of code, yada yada
Doing our best, yada yada
— ArenaNet, probably
Have you ran through repair mode?
ArenaNet, please do the right thing and refund. You cannot let hundreds of thousands of hard-earned influence disappear into the void because of a bug.
It seems like an easy fix is to put an NPC into WvW that sells them. Once you have your war room you can either buy more from him or go to the war room to buy them. And the NPC can just stay in game selling them. No reason to ever take him out.
But this is ANet we’re talking about, they have to over-complicate everything.
We usually run 20 people so splitting up doesn’t work to well. We look for fights not objectives but when the fight is SM and they are bunkering down with a kittenload of siege in lords it is frustrating
SM is an objective, though, so you’re not really making sense. As you can see in the image Freelancer posted, we were all over the place — there were plenty of fights to be picked.
When fights hide behind walls with siege we are forced to go to objectives. It would be awsome if people met us open field but after one guild or zerg gets wiped its usually a game of find the blob
I’m really confused… you are essentially saying you’re only interested in zerg vs zerg, and complain we are playing for actual objectives, as intended?
We only ‘hid behind walls with siege’ in SM, to defend. Our other 5 squads were taking objectives. Yet you apparently kept tunnel-visioning SM. I mean, not really sure what to say here…
You make it sound like you were entitled to taking SM.
