I love metal/rock but the song itself just didn’t quite hit the mark. It is generic and just not well arranged. I would love to hear more guitar in trailers but not this way, this is like a cheesy tryhard powermetalish demo from a garage bands guitarist. Also, metal works well with the GW atmosphere, look up “Fire of Spirit: Guild Wars” on youtube.

@Vol

I am sorry, but what kind of story progression are you talking about? Literally nothing happened that will influence the game in any way in the future in that dungeon, it’s just some filler cra…. khmm.

I just finished it solo on my staff ele and it was a HUGE disappointment for me. It’s just the crown pavillion with an ultra-lame boss and a few of the new mobs, super easy mode. I hope this is not the end of this update because if you complete the dungeon you will still know nothing about our new genius antagonist. The writers should man up and start making things happen or this game will end miserably lore wise if it continues to head in this direction. So sad and angry right now.

I don't like this update

Since I have completed the personal story I feel completely disconnected from the game. All the new additions have nothing to do with the actual storyline and I am looking for connections but can’t find any. I’ve been playing GW1 since factions came out and enjoyed it a lot, because it had a consistent storyline with REAL threats. In GW2 it feels like there are no antagonists, nothing dangerous is happening. Sky pirates? Are you kidding me? I am sorry but that is just a cheap filling to create the illusion of real content being added. There are so many unanswered questions from GW1 that you could create 5 years worth of content from just using that but no, you will add useless enemies like steam-punk pirates and burning dredges, really? I am trying hard not to sound too harsh but these updates are just a complete waste of time and add nothing to the game and make the core world feel utterly dead.

It's boring

I was excited to play this game again after they announced the bi-weekly updates but it seems like there is nothing new. I feel like this game is in dire need of solid content not these tiny additions. Until they start adding actual NEW content, I won’t even care to log on, I just hop on the forums and check what is new and hope for a good patch. I am a die-hard GW1 fan, been playing it for 5 years and would love to see more of the MAIN storyline, not these side stories. The new patches feel so irrelevant to the actual game, it feels like that things that happen in the living story don’t even matter in the end when it comes to lore. Its just pure fillers, I want the beef which GW1 had, I want to be interested in the story. The feeling of the great unknown is missing completely.

Thaumanova Reactor vs. Fall of Abaddon

Personally, I don’t find the reactor interesting and if it gets the most votes I feel like it will be just a generic failed asuran experiment. On the other hand, there must be a reason for Kiel researching into it as a human herself. My speculation is that both candidates are looking for something and MAYBE both of those fractals could have connections to the bloodstone or some source of power.
Also, I think it doesn’t matter whoever you vote for because in the end it will be just like the personal story: you make a choice which doesn’t have any effect in the long run, you will end up with the same story as everyone else.
