Guild Wars 2

Another update: Reached Guild Level 14 last night after completing our Arena Level 2 upgrade. Had some good fights in it too!

I also updated the discord link, as it seems that broke.

We’ll be doing our weekly guild mission on Saturday around 9PM CST; give us a shout on Discord if you want to join!

I went ahead and made a new thread with some proper titling a little while ago.

Currently we’re at guild level 11 & growing, still looking for more people interested in joining. We have a guild bank, workshop, PvP Arena(Rank 1, Rank 2 is WIP), War Room, and a Guild Trader. We are also in the process of building our guild portal. (most of our players are on GoM or Sea of Sorrows for WvW related stuff.)

If anyone is interested in joining us later tonight, we’ll be running a hard difficulty guild bounty.

Also we recently went through with a rename since we found a name we liked better, so don’t get confused if you notice that we’re running as “Regrettable Decisions [INC]”.

Update on our status:

We got our guild bank this weekend as well as some upgrades, currently sitting at guild level 8. Currently hoping to have us at level 10 by christmas if I can. We’re looking for more people interested in guild missions especially right now, as we’re hard at work building the guild hall up.

We’re a brand new guild, founded around last week or so. We’re looking for new members interested in joining a growing guild, potentially with a future focus on endgame content like fractals and raids once we have enough of a population.

Our current main focus is mostly leveling up our guild hall.

We also do some SPvP occasionally, although a lot of us are from different servers, so WvW may be harder to come by.

Currently our guild hall is level 5, and growing. We’re mostly looking for active players of any kind; most of our playerbase plays during NA hours or late at night during weekdays, so it would be ideal to be on those general timeframes. (CST 4-Midnight for the normal people or 11-4AM or so if we’re talking my usual times of play.)

Bump – we claimed our guild hall this weekend and we’re relatively close to having our guild bank right now, as well as the scribing workshop. (Guild level 4 as of this post)

Website’s also received some upgrades including a frontpage.

Working on tooltips for the site soon, we’ll see if I can work out how to make them work.

We’re going by “The Molten Vanguard”. The guild is formed now so feel free to ask for invites.

Generally speaking I’m open to whoever, I don’t consider myself to be super-hardcore as it is but I’m open to that kind of person if they want to do some of that kind of thing with us. I don’t know how much WvW we’d be doing (some of us being on TC and others on GoM, my original server.) So I wouldn’t worry about that too much.

I expect we’ll be PvE focused with a touch of SPvP and maybe WvW if people are into doing that.

Honestly I haven’t done any dungeons in over a year, but that’s mostly because I would only do runs with guildmates. So we’d all probably be due for a refresher I’d guess. lol

At any rate it seems you pretty much play at the same times I do anyway, so that’s a bonus.

Looks like we’re sitting at about 5-10 people so far, depending on how things go. Also looking into trying to drag some people I know from launch back perhaps.

So I’ve been considering doing this lately since I’ve been tired of running solo for the longest time. I’ve been playing GW2 since the beta, and while I formed a guild with some friends on launch, they’re all MIA and haven’t returned for the expansion or basically much else.

I’d join someone else’s guild but I feel it’s better to form a smaller guild where I’d know most of the members, and be able to use my skills to enable it to be something great. A larger guild would likely have no use for my website design/license, or be unwilling to adopt it for obvious rank/trust reasons.

I want to try to see if I can make a small tight-knit guild with some people, if anyone is interested in the idea. Ideally it’d be people 18 or older I think, with a PvE focus. Currently I’m on Tarnished Coast.

I have experience doing a number of web-related work so if this does happen I’ll set up any of the following to get things rolling quickly:

• Website – I own a license for Xenforo that’s been gathering dust, but yeah. If you need a sample of what I can get up to, I’ve done some work on my friend’s website http://www.xmpstudios.com.
• Will probably install or make a mod to enable item tooltips on the site, as well.
• Discord or TS3 (Whatever people prefer, though I find Discord is simpler to use)

I’d also like to meet some people who know a thing or two about raids as I’ve not dug into those yet.

I’m currently in the process of figuring out details like the guild name and etc., but it should be easily situated if everything works out.
