[Suggestion]SAB Tribulation tokens exchange

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

RobotInProgress.9782

For people like myself who managed to obtain all the Toad King and Storm Wizard weapon skins the last time SAB was around, we have very little to do this year round.

I propose allowing for exchanging additional Tribulation tokens for Crimson weapons tokens (doesn’t have to be one for one) or for Bauble Bubbles. I for one would prefer the former rather than the later due to both the Kaiser Weapons and the Crimson Weapons being tied to dailies doesn’t allow for either to be completed.
(Kaiser weapon skins can be bought on the TP, whereas Crimson skins cannot, hence why this is more of an issue I feel)

I can only hope that something is implemented before the event ends, otherwise they take up space that can be used for other things and it would be a shame to throw them away.

Issues with character art, weapons, or armor?

Race(s): Asura and Charr
Sex: Both
Armor: Dragonscale Headdress – (Obtained through one of the Rising Flames story achievements)

Currently I am aware that both Asura and Charr are affected in some way by the Dragonscale headdress, which is a beautiful helmet design but is ruined by one or two things.

For Asura the ears go directly through the two metal plates that are supposed to cover the ears, the idea, I am assuming, is that the ears would be wrapped into the headdress and covered by plates, so much like the Scrapper’s Mask I think that the ears just shouldn’t be visible.

As for Charr, when the headdress is equipped or previewed, the horns can intersect parts of the helmet, although I haven’t seen it on all Charr models and various horns types, I think that having the plated areas point outwards, providing room for the horns to avoid clipping through the plates. otherwise it may be wiser to remove the plates entirely. (I know its probably not that easy but its a suggestion nonetheless)

((Would post image with the multiple issues annotated and in one image but photoshop is not being co-operative))

Yes MO, and along with this could you please sort out the medium armor on the Charr, rather than the tail going through the clothing, can you weight the clothing to the tail? or something because it is a thing that gets on a lot of peoples nerves, not just myself.

A Miniature Doppelgänger (i.e. a Mini Me) because I’m so vain.

Would think this would be quite fun but I’d think it would be a pain to implement, purely based on all the armour skins

It shouldn’t be that hard I would imagine. After all they manage to get our chars and their armours in story cut scenes.

Not something I thought of, props to you :P

Randomly remembered Shiro. I’d think there’s a good excuse to add this one.

Maybe one day we’ll see all the legends with minis, just imagine Glint or Abbadon :0

sieran… i love her so much anet why dont you love her too ;~;. the shatterer would be cool too.
mostly though i REALLY want bioluminescent lurchers. they look so cool and i would love the feeling of constantly fearing my mini savagely destroying me in one fell swoop. gets a good adrenaline rush going, you know?

I have a soft spot for most things mordrem so I would love to see those Lurchers, thinking of mordrem theres a few other NPCs that would be pretty good minis, thinking of all those mordrem infected creatures roaming the HoT maps

As stated above, I also would like to see a mini Taimi.
But beside this there is one mini I absolutely want to see. Back in the times of Guild Wars 1 I got the mini Kuunavang as a present from a friend. It was a really expensive minipet back then, needless to say it is and was my all time favorite. I would really want to see this mini to reappear again.

As someone who hasn’t played much of the Guild wars 1, I wouldn’t mind seeing some of the creatures make a return, but I have a feeling that it may be a while before we see these guys. Were these guys found in Cantha, because if so, yeah it could be quite some time :T

I made a separate post about this what I’d love to see and you can thanks my girlfriend
A pug the dog breed
Then someone came up with the idea of when your idle it drags it butt across the floor there is a pug through the Super Adventure but not in a mini pet sadly
Thoughts?

I think I gave the thread a look earlier, while I wouldn’t mind seeing small animals as mini’s, I’m not the biggest fan of pugs unfortunately ^^’ But hey, its not like I am putting these mini’s in the game xD

I would like a

1. Mini Zhaitan
2. Mini Taimi (Her Golem)
3. Mini Jormag
4. Mini Sparkles (Can you bring it back?)

Love the idea for a mini Jormag, maybe with an update to his mechanics too ;P
As for a mini Taimi, wouldn’t it just be called Taimi (smol asura babie x3)

- Trahearne
- Sieran
- Forgal
- Shatterer (should be a drop from its chest, like Mini Teq is)
- Claw of Jormag (same as above)
- Marsh drake (we have all the drake types except this one I think)
- Trahearne

kinda weird that we have a mini of the jerk from the human commoner story that torches a hospital and orphanage, but nothing for some of the main/popular characters. If we’re gonna get minis of characters that only appear in a single racial story, can we at least get one of Malyck?

Hadn’t even thought of Shatterer! although I wouldn’t mind seeing almost all the bosses with a mini, provided its once they’ve been revamped.
While Sieran and Forgal may be less popular than Tybalt I think that its silly to only have one mentor available (unless they’re come back as mist champions )
And I would hope in the case of Malyck that we may see a mini for him if he makes an appearance in the Living world story… one day :s

would love to have a mini hero-tron, that’s the only mini I ever want

Its odd because HoHo-Tron is available from Wintersday but the main guy isn’t his own miniature :T

Although I am not an active collector of the minis, I have found that some of the things I wish I could have following me are not actually in the game, and it perplexes me that they are not. A few that I honestly think should be in the game are:
-The Gravelings or their boss variants, featured in the Ascalonian Dungeon, or any type of skelk to be honest. Too many Skales!
-Vinetooth(s/Vineteeths/Vinetoothses), I generally love their design and its a shame that they are no available but the Faolain version is, it just feels like we are missing a step here
-Trehearne, the poor Marshall really should have his own mini considering what he has been through, heck, maybe even his HoT variant >_>
- Magister Seiran and Warmaster Forgal, give the other order representatives some love ;P
-Elder Dragons! or just Mordremoth, Zhaitan might be a bit harder to do due to his flail-ey-ness, but Mordremoth and the Mouth of Mordremoth definitely should have miniature versions

These are just a few that I can think of, its a shame that some of these aren’t available, and I don’t have a solution for how all of them should be implimented, but what do you guys think, and what mini’s would you have introduced?

Okay so, I would like a commission done of my character Yhi as I finally got a legendary, so I’m essentially going all out.

I would like:
Fullbody
+Colour
+Shading

and I understand that my armour is quite detailed so I assume that we will have to discuss pricing on top of the base price

Now for the references: http://imgur.com/a/JV3oH#0
If you need more I’ll see what I can do

I would also like to ask that Yhi is not actually wearing the helm but rather holding it under one arm and perhaps the other arm holding the sword, resting on her shoulder (similar to what would happen if you make your character walk with the weapon out)

This would only be possible for people who bought the original clothes but didn’t ask for a refund.

The current outfit tonics would have to stay tonics, to prevent them being used for profit, and so those who got refunds from their outfits and those who didn’t bought the oufits won’t get them without paying.

Then you put the outfits as neat packages back into the gemstore.

The premise for this thread was to come up with some ‘solution’ to allow all people to have access to these clothes as outfits, to have it only available to those who didn’t ask for a refund would make it unobtainable to a large majority of people, at least that’s what I would assume based on your suggestion.

I would also say that the tonics that are currently on sale in the Trading Post could stay there unless they are purchased or revoked, in which that person may either go and exchange it for the outfit version (for a fee of some kind, some amount of gold which may vary depending on the outfit) or they may decide to sell it on the trading post again at a higher price perhaps, as is the way of the trading post :P

I’m not saying that what I have suggested is flawless but I don’t think that excluding people is the best way of going about it

It’s a start for some people. Sadly it wouldn’t help me, as I was completely uninterested in the shirt and boots they elected to turn the khaki tonic into. Though, should they introduce radiation exposure in the game, users of that particular tonic would be well protected. I sold mine (along with most of my other clothes) back.

What I ‘would’ like to see is a paid service to re-introduce some of the old mix-n-match clothing options as new outfits. I’d happily pay $50 to pair up the old shirt, shorts, boot options I had put together. Pick my items, they press it as a costume for me, they take my $50. I don’t recall having any ‘clipping’ issues with my outfit, though that sort of thing never bothered me much anyways. I mean, my sheathed staff floats magically 6 inches from my back, as it has in every game I’ve played since old-timey people roamed the earth in search of fire.

Sadly (already used sadly, ‘More’ sadly, I don’t think it has anything to do with money from their end, and more to do with … other things.

I think I understand what you mean, however, I would find it highly unlikely that Anet would impliment such a thing because it would be purely cosmetic and providing the service at such a costly price would scare people and would probably be seen as a bad move. To take it back to individual skins would become something of an irritant I feel as you would have to unlock every skin, whereas with an outfit it comes as one nice package, almost as if it was intended to look that way (I mean its an outfit so it should look good as a whole right?)

Now I understand that this would not be a priority at this current time with HoT and all but I think its something to consider later down the line.

Before the Clothing Tonics there were Town clothes which people could equip much like the armour that we use, as well as them also being dyeable. However, after a feature pack update last year they we transformed into tonics instead, this left some people unhappy as it now meant that they were no longer dyeable and they were no longer interchangeable. (I am sure I’ve probably missed some other gripes about the change and I’m sure people will be willing to explain what they are in the comments below)

I propose an alternative to tonics which which would at least solve half the issue, change the clothing tonics into outfits! This would allow people to dye the clothing the way they used to and would bring back the customisability that they once had in terms of colour. This means that more people would be likely to use them, currently you hardly see people using the tonics, except occasional at community events,as well as it being something you have to carry around, it takes up space in your inventory.

There is the possible issue of having multiple versions of the tonics (based on the current system of obtaining tonics and those on the trading post(especially the basic ones)), but there would ways of ‘controlling’ these outfits , Such as:
– A fee to convert the existing tonics into the outfits
- Have collections for those who don’t already have them(e.g. newer people (perhaps something like the way people can get Precursors which HoT will provide))
- Gem store purchase (seems like one of the right things to suggest)

I understand that it wouldn’t be the simplest and easiest thing to do, considering how long its been since town clothes where changed to tonics, but I believe that it would be in people’s interests to consider the change.

TL;DR Clothing tonics should be changed to Outfits so people can dye them and feel like using them more often

If you have any further suggestions, complaints or criticisms, do not be afraid to post below

Character Customisation issue - The eyes!

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Or to be more specific the eyelids.
When adjusting the brow and the eyebrows with the sliders while customising a human I noticed that the bottom eyelid would be “cut”, part of the bottom eyelid would not cover the eye.

Additionally, adjusting the nose height at the tip also has the same effect with the eyelid.

Thought it was worth presenting this issue before HoT comes round
