Just so people don’t get the wrong idea about what I’m looking for, allow me to clarify
I’m not too interested in speed runs. To be honest, I would just like to find a big guild with regular players who I can do dungeons with a lot of the time. I’m definitely not fond of those people who say ‘learn to play or get out!’ I hate that attitude. I personally need to learn some of the dungeon runs and obviously that will take time, and I’m willing to teach the people the dungeon runs. But the key thing is, I want people to be very serious about it.
As of today, I’ve had people leave Arah when we get to Lupi. Every time, the person who started the dungeon quit, therefore kicking us all out of the dungeon (which is a stupid design if you ask me). I just want to play with people I trust
Well if it is that good, yes, I will obviously represent for other things. But I don’t want to be forced to represent a guild almost every time I log-in.
I have a guild I have for just myself and my friends, so I often talk to them in guild chat when I’m levelling a normal character. And then I have a fairly big guild, where I have other friends (online ones) who I like to talk to whilst questing. But when it comes to the serious stuff (which I do a lot of the time), I want to be representing someone who is as serious about the runs as me.
For instance, I don’t want to be in the guild with my friends doing a WvW session because, quite frankly, I have to teach them a lot of the stuff (which I don’t mind doing, but when I want to seriously do WvW, I want to be with people who want to do the same). It’s the same with dungeon runs. It really depends on my mood and what I want to do.
Hence this post is specifically aimed at dungeon-running. I’ve already said I do dungeon runs a lot of the time – at least once every time I log on. And I will obviously be asking guildies if they want to join. And since I’m on every day, you can see I’ll be quite an active member.
I don’t want to be forced into representing 24 hours a day… I’ll represent for the dungeon runs, obviously
Hey all!
Before you spam me with ‘(inster guild name here) is a fun-loving, mature, excellent, awesome, cool guild you simply must join! Our benefits include…’, please actually read what I’m typing.
I’m looking for a mature and friendly guild that I can easily represent when I want to and get dungeon players. I don’t mind pick-up groups and use gw2lfg a lot, but I want Arah armour and for that, I need people who won’t leave halfway through. I just spent the past hour working on path 2 (none of us had done it before) and then the person who started the dungeon left for no reason, kicking everyone else out.
A. That’s a stupid design flaw and should be addressed by Arenanet.
B. I want to find some regular players who I can run ANY dungeon with.
I’m not interested in the speedy runs every PUG out there does (although they are awesome for the cash!). I want a guild where I can easily say ‘hey, I want to do Arah explorable’, or ’I’m going to do TA up/up’ and more or less instantly have a group.
I’m a very regular player and do about 2 or 3 dungeons a day.
My primary focus at the moment is farming Arah.
If such a guild exists, please let me know!

Issue: Deleted guild?
I made a guild called The Euphoria Wave for me and my real-life friends. I made this on day 1 – Saturday 25th August. We’ve been using it ever since then, and we’ve upgraded a fair bit of it already. However, today, we couldn’t even log onto the guild. It just told each of us that there was 1 member in it (for me, it would say that I was the only member, for my friend it would say he was the only member). My guild tag had also changed to something like [RUIN]. It used to be [TEW], since that was the shortened version of The Euphoria Wave.
Now I just logged in again, and yet it’s not on my guild list at all. It seems as if it’s been completely deleted, and I have no idea why. No email from Arenanet, no notification of any kind, so I’m guessing that it’s some sort of bug.
