When it comes to online games, I prefer to play female characters because I’m a woman and dressing female characters is more fun to me than doing the same with male characters. That and it feels more natural to play as a female character. In regular RPGs or anything that isn’t online, I prefer male characters. I’ve been playing games for a very long time and I guess that I got used to playing male heroes.
Just play whatever you want. At this point, so many guys play female characters that I assume all female characters are males by default unless they tell me otherwise. xD
As the title says, the Lyre sometimes turns red when I glide even though it’s been dyed black. It’s not client side either because my friend saw it as red as well when I showed it to him.
At first it kept switching between red and black when I was doing the daily JP and it continued to do the same in Sparkly Fen for a few more minutes while I was gathering wood and ore before Tequatl, but then it stopped turning red and it stayed black for a while, only to turn red again once I got to Queensdale.
It’s also annoying for people who only check this subforum for the art. I don’t want art to be buried under a mountain of PvP and WvW videos which I never watch anyway.
I was trying a new armor combo on my Engi and I finally found one that I liked, so I went to the Gem Store to buy the Shoulder Scarf, but lo and behold, it’s not on sale anymore. I don’t want to wait another five months until Wintersday to get it, so if possible, could you please put it on sale soon so that I could buy it before I lose interest in it? Please and thank you.
EDIT (19 days later): Nevermind, I don’t need nor want it anymore. That’s what happens when people can’t buy what they want when they want it.
So, now that the raid armour track is done and dusted, might we get a WvW legendary armour track? Feel free to reuse any old skin to make it faster too, we’ve got plenty of transmutation stones to make it look how we want.
The problem started for me about a week ago. Now it’s reached a point where I simply can’t log in anymore no matter what I do. Repairing the client does nothing either.
This is for Cernoch, one of my guildies from River of Tears. The character’s name is Kuchi Fluffy Tail, a Guardian Charr he often uses in WvW. He’s usually the last one standing, so this painting is not that far from the truth. XD
Thank you very much for giving us artists the opportunity to do something like this. I would very much like to participate as well, however, I am unclear about some things.
1. What is the deadline?
2. If I draw a character, does it have to wear the ingame armor or can I put my creativity to work and try some new stuff?
3. Who exactly selects the winning designs? Anet, WeLoveFine, or the design with most votes gets to win?
4. Can we draw more than one piece?
5. Does it have to be new or can it be something I drew, let’s say, a couple of months ago?
Hi! I just finished going through all the art you posted in this thread and I must say that you have some really good stuff. I was also surprised to notice that in many of them you didn’t use opacity pen pressure settings for the brush (or at least that’s what it looks like to me).
First of all, thank you for telling me about the feature on my drawing since I wouldn’t have known otherwise. I don’t check the forum very often. ^^;
Anyway, I watched the videos for this drawing and the previous one you posted and I must say that you have some really nice art. I especially enjoyed seeing the dynamic poses you came up with since I find stuff like that to be pretty hard to draw.

Same problem here with the paid version of Bitdefender. Instead of going around it and disabling it, I’ll wait until it gets fixed somehow. I don’t want to risk it.
