Duties
There is very little expected of a guild mate when it comes to duties:
- Sign up on the guild website
- Download Mumble
- Be respectful to all members
- Help one another when possible
- Have fun
This probably could have been left out entirely, but I feel it very simply shows the casualness of our guild.
Dye Parties
The three leaders have an unhealthy obsession with dye. Once you become a member there will be free dye offered in the guild’s treasure trove. We ask that people only take it for their main, and no more than 10 at a time – and if possible, they refill it with extras when they have them. We are also interested in having some sort of guild activity revolving around a dye lottery, so hopefully that will come to fruition soon.
My Two Cents
I feel very passionately about this group of people, many of which I have played with since launch. I will say that there was a period of time when the three guild leaders (The Triumvirate) were absent for a prolonged period (~2 weeks), and we were astounded when we returned to an even stronger guild than had been left. People stepped up and took control of guild upgrades, made a working guild roster for deciphering names, nicknames, and rankings, and all of this without the guidance of any of the leaders!
There are many great people within this guild, and I could continue to gush for many pages yet, but I won’t. Just believe me when I say that if you’re looking for a smaller sized, close knit guild to be a part of, you should give us a try.
So if you’re interested, head on over to our site and apply, I very much doubt you’ll regret it.
Again, if you have any questions of any sort, reach out to one of us.

Well met, traveler.
The following pertains to the guild:
ENGIVATION [ENVA] on Tarnished Coast
First let me show you the best places to look into us:
There will be some extra information in the second post that did not make the cut for length in the first post, skim over to find what sections most pertain to your interests!
Play style
We are a casual guild of friends whose primary goal is to have fun – as it should be. There is an interest for every activity Guild Wars 2 has to offer within our ranks, PvE being the most common thread among our members. Don’t fret, there are avid PvPers and jumping puzzle enthusiasts (myself included) to be found, as well. There are no time commitments, or required attendance policies, but we do love to be clued in. If you’re going to be away on a trip for a month, let us know! Don’t just fall off the face of the earth. The thing with a guild like this is that we notice when someone goes missing, because we do care about each and every one of our players.
Guild Missions
Even though we have a smaller sized guild (currently sitting at ~30) we were able to pull together and achieve the required influence to purchase the necessary upgrades! We are just beginning to run guild missions, and already have enough influence to open up Guild Trek once Economy reaches the 6th tier.
We make every effort to let the entire guild know when these activities will be, we try very hard to foster the bonds of community that makes this guild so special. We do this by:
- Posting a GMotD to announce when we plan to start the event.
- Posting a message on our guild website about the events occurrence.
- Posting a mumble daily message as a third method of notification.
It is very important for a guild to do things with one another, and guild missions are the absolute best way to achieve this – since dungeons can only hold 5 people per run.
Voice Chat
We feel very strongly about voice chat – not necessarily meaning that you have to vocally participate. It is from experience that groups are able to perform more effectively when commands and ideas can be ushered vocally, leaving the keys to do your physical action-based bidding. While it may be true that a sword is – at times – able to speak more effectively than a person’s words, this is not true in the case of stopping mid-combat to type a strategy that is in need of instant application.
The above paragraph made it seem like we only use it as a tool, but truly, it is much more a facilitator of open communication. Talking is a more sincere form of speaking to one another, and some of the strongest bonds that I have forged come from the ridiculous late night talks of a sleep deprived group just having a wonderful time.
As I said, you are not required to speak, but it is required that you have mumble downloaded and accessible. When you are in a group of guildies, you must be on mumble so that those who wish to speak are able to do so without leaving you out of the loop.
Two Week Trial
We use a two week “trial” period to make sure new recruits mesh with the guild well. The two weeks is “loose” in that we have had a recruit join, play an entire night with the guild, fit in perfectly, and made a member within 12 hours of joining.
Being a recruit will basically last until the recruit either:
- Plainly fits in well
- Doesn’t enjoy the guilds company and we part ways cordially
We understand that some people are shy, so if you come into the guild and two weeks go by without us getting a real feel for who you are and how well you mesh, you will not be kicked! The trial will just continue on.
This, as you might have gathered, is just a measure to ensure guild harmony – hold the drama at bay. This is not in any way shape or form a “test” to be passed, and we hope no recruit ever views it as such a suppressing venture.

Hello everyone! We now have 10 new members, but are still looking for a few more. Hope you are all well, and if you’re interested, come on over and give us a shot :]

Coming back for a quick update everyone (and to bump the thread, because we are still actively recruiting).
We are now research Art of War 4 and are well on our way to guild missions! We will be there in under two weeks time.
We have also recruited five new members who all seem to be fitting in well! We would still like to see about 5-10 new faces, so we hope to hear from a few new onlookers soon!
~Toricane
Hey everyone! Just thought we would stop in and give a quick update on the state of recruitment and specify where we are at with guild missions!
We are excited to have just recruited 4 new players for our ranks, and from what we’ve seen of them so far they seem to be liking us, and us them :] We are stilling looking for ~6-8 more recruits.
As for guild missions, we have AoW 3 queued, with 70 hours left on the ticker. We are still about 2 weeks away from missions, but at least we have the influence. We also see this as a good opportunity to get to know the new recruits before we do this big group events together!
We also wanted to make sure that to those of you that are interested, we have a nice piece of guild lore written, as well as some awesome screenshots on our site!

Hope everyone is doing well, look forward to meeting a few more faces.

We are a small guild at the moment, and are trying to develop a close knit crew. Right now we consist of 10 players who have played a considerable amount together. There are no requirements for play, this is a casual guild in every since of the word – real life comes first!
Mumble is a requirement, and we understand that many people are shy – so we only require that you listen. It makes everything more enjoyable when you can openly communicate and be heard by voice. It is difficult to type as a means of giving direction during a heated battle!
If you chose to try us out, you’ll enter on a two week trial period. We are trying to build a very close community and if it is decided that you are not a good fit, we may politely ask that you move on. You will be given a very exact reason for dismissal, we are not out to hurt anyone – and we don’t foresee this being an issue at all. We just want to make sure everyone interested understands what we are trying to build.
That’s enough of me for the moment! If you have any questions, please PM me here on the message boards. You can also mail or whisper myself (Toricane) or Aisrie (another Guild Leader) in game! We hope to hear from anyone who feels this might be what we’re looking for.
Stay safe,
-Toricane

Hey guys! Just wanted to let everyone know that there is now a prompt to answer in order to be accepted to our site, and that we are looking to recruit about 7 more members for now – that will put us at 20! We think that’s a good number, at least until we all know one another pretty well.
Stay safe~

Here’s our site, for starters: http://enva.enjin.com/home (It’s very rough – and new – but you can find some good guild screen shots there.)

We play however we feel like at the time. You are not going to find a group that rage’s because the rest of the party is laughing at someone rolling off into lava – we are those people laughing That’s not to say we aren’t dedicated players who have built our characters effectively for the role we wish to play. We all like to do well and progress, but our ultimate goal is to have fun the entire time we are playing the game!
