Hey, I go by the name of Pierre. Lately I’ve been running a s/d thief in spvp/tpvp. I’m rank 57 and looking for a team of my own to play with. I have and prefer to use teamspeak and would like to play some games with you guys to get a better feel for what kind of players you are. No, I feel as if the games has been destroyed.

Due to a lack of coverage, the new bloodlust mechanic leaves the lower population servers incapable of grabbing bloodlust and recapturing towers at the same time. This has several effects on the WvW matchup:

1. No bloodlust and you’re often down from 50 -150 points into every stat per enemy vs the server which has greater numbers and has/is taking your towers and keeps.

2. No towers means no safe-havens from the abundantly buffed invaders roaming the borderlands. Furthermore, it means there is nowhere to draw significant points from to give your server a fighting chance at “Winning” the match up.

3. Ultimately it causes demoralization of the player base to the point where they don’t want to play anymore.This will happen because no matter how hard they try they’re out-manned and SEVERELY outgunned.

A viscous cycle has been created where the lower WvW population servers have absolutely no chance to win or even compete in WvW. Don’t believe me? Check the scores… http://mos.millenium.org/na/

The upper tiers may be able to strike some kind of balance, because they have the numbers to field people in more locations, but in lower rank/tier servers the inability to cover the large number of territories coupled with less stats per player makes it impossible for them to fight back and win. Hence, WvW will die in these servers. So how do we fix this? Change WvW back to how it was pre-9/17 update.
Ram mastery is cool, but the bloodlust mechanic needs to be taken out of WvW. Or you will see a mass exodus of players who loved WvW in the lower tiers leaving the game and/or servers.

I swear I’ve spent my whole day trying to get hills back for GoM. Glad to see order restored :P, and hats off to Os and all the NSP who defended hills, you guys defended it really well for a really long time.

RH does not hack, ever, period.

Perhaps you don’t know this, but the reason GoM is in T8 is because of hackers. GoM got a bad rep for being the “hacking server.” While there where definitely hackers in GoM (which we on GoM reported constantly), so did all the other servers. But this “OMG GoM is dirty server of dirty hackers” thing got so bad, that many of our guilds transferred to other server.

Those of us who stayed on GoM HATE hackers, and we take any hints of hacking very seriously. If you have actual proof of hacking, PM it to anyone on GoM and I promise you that the GoM alliance will mass report them into oblivion. If you don’t have proof, then keep it to yourself. Baseless accusations don’t help anything.

well im glad your server will clean up hackers whenever you see em, I didn’t expect to get attacked this hard for pointing out one I saw, if my computer didn’t crash everytime I try to take a screenshot I would have taken a pic of it but even then it would have been kinda hard to do that. Im pretty new to GW2 so my apologies. droping it now.

If you are new to gw2 then you should ask a vet from your server and they could probably explain the whats and hows.. one of the norn transformation skills has a skill that they can cover a great distance in a short time. also doesn’t a rangers pet also take a condition or kd and anything like for the ranger? plus condition removal signet?

I am the ranger who was accused of hacking. And I am pretty taken aback by these accusations. First off, my build has two traits which proc when i am hit by a disable. One transfers it to my pet (“Shared Anguish”) and one that causes me to go invis for when I get hit by a disable (“Hide in Plain Sight”). Secondly, RH does not approve of hacking in our guild neither do we knowingly run w/ppl who hack. Lastly, I’m not in any exp trains… _ I’m a lvl 80 WvW player, taking camps is an element of strategy.

It was really tough taking any territory in Darkhaven Borderlands tonight. My hat goes off to you guys, especially that Asura commander. He/She was reacting very quickly.

okay idk if anyone from their guild will see this, but i want to give a shoutout of respect to the Guild Ravens Hold in GOM, your all very coordinated, and very talented players, everytime you guys show up its always an intense fight.
