Is there no way to write a support ticket or anything so I can get some help from a dev here? I wrote a bug report but they state they don’t reply to those.
Heya, thanks for the reply. Yes, like I mentioned, I am the guild leader. My rank has everything ticked in the permissions tab.
I have just returned to the game after a significant break (over a year) and I’m unable to deposit items in my guild bank. It’s an old guild that I created back around launch. I am the leader and I’ve talked to an NPC in Lions Arch to ‘Upgrade’ the guild (even though I don’t exactly understand what that means) and I believe I also have the Guild Stash thingy unlocked. I can see all the old items in the bank and I can even withdraw them, but deposit is greyed out and dragging/dropping does nothing. Any ideas? I assume it’s a bug.
Mine is missing also (not that it’s surprising as most people have lost theirs) but I’m very interested to see how you guys decide to deal with this.
Bumping as this still seems to be an issue 9 months later. The backpack size ratio/difference between Asura and other races is still horribly off and is still what would appear to be the appropriate or at least much more reasonable size on the character creation screen. Perhaps at this point I would be better moving this to the Suggestion forums.
To the person above, I would recommend if you dislike the backpack that you make use of the hide feature.
This is my main problem with GW2 at the moment and would love to see it fixed. As someone that plays 100% asura characters the lack of variation between male/female armors is really disappointing, and I can’t help but feel slightly annoyed when I see how different sets are on the other races. If it has to be done via an options menu toggle on/off then so be it, at least that way it would be an option.
It appears that Asuran back slot items that have appearances are showing in-game as significantly smaller than intended. I noticed this yesterday after reading a topic on Asura head sizes and then creating an engineer in-game to test.

As you can see the creation screen looks fine, however when you get in-game the backpack has become almost half the size. This seems to happen with the guild backpack also, though this is an assumption I’m making as the packs look much smaller on Asura in terms of scale when compared to the likes of humans, whos packs look very large and noticable.
I posted this in two other threads on the Asura head-size glitch but it wasnt addressed and I figured it deserved a topic of its own, given its a seperate issue.
I also hope this is a bug, and I’m assuming it must be. They seem to be struggling to decide on how to deal with Asura clipping issues? That’s my guess at least. Check this out too, it seems that something isn’t working as intended with our back items either.

I don’t think this is the only problem with Asura right now either. If you make an Asura engineer and look at the universal multi-tool backpack (or whatever its called), it is pretty large on the character creation screen (normal-sized when compared to the other races) which is good because imo at least it should look oversized and slightly ridiculous.
However when you get in-game, the backpack has been significantly downsized, blatantly smaller than every other race aswell. I noticed this last night after buying the guild backpack on my Asura and thinking that it seems smaller than I expected, disappointing even as at first glance you barely even notice its there. I then saw a human character wearing the same backpack and I thought it looked huge compared to the model (precisely how it should look, again imo).

This has to be a bug with all back-items for Asura as it happens with both the guild pack and the engineer pack. Along with the Tier 2 Asura Cultural Weapon vendor selling Sylvari weapons, I’d like to see all of this fixed ASAP.

All of my yes. Please do this ASAP. I made my first character ignoring the sliders assuming they all stay in the center by default. I later found out guardian asura sliders are all off in odd directions resulting in my character having pretty much no eyes, so in cutscenes her eyelids go through her cheeks etc and it has almost ruined the character for me. Problem is she is 80 and my main now so obviously I dont want to remake her, but I would be willing to pay for re-customisation.
