The mastery points hidden behind JP’s aren’t as bad because they are not timed. You can take your time with those.

I really don’t get what all the complaints are about? It’s been the same for three years just because they tied an item to it? Just do the kitten puzzle you’re bound to get it. I ran it 3x in about 10min. This puzzle is easy compared to some in the current game or previous celebrations ex. mad kings clocktower.

Just because you can do it, doesn’t mean others can. Some have issues that pretty much make this an impossibility.

I’m glad my post has at least started a dialog on this. Maybe at least if they are not going to change it this year, that they can maybe get some feedback and change it next year, and offer the shoulder piece again. I do like the post about getting a certain item (like tokens of some sort), for whatever wintersday activity you want to do. Hell I’d even do Trix 70 times over trying to do that JP again.

Winter’s Presence shoulder item JP requirement? I can try my best to do the other achievements, but the JP is just not going to happen for people that have medical issues with their hands. People that suffer from carpal tunnel or arthritis are pretty much SOL when it comes to doing the JP puzzle once, let alone 3 times. Please consider removing the requirement for the JP ANET!

I don’t mind the same events again, but getting the Winter’s Presence shoulder item is almost kitten near impossible for someone like me. By including the timed jumping puzzle as a requirement is just mean. I have a hard time already with the regular jumping puzzles due to my limited hand dexterity, but timed ones are just out of the question for me. Please Anet remove the JP requirement. I’ll do the other ones I promise!

I was under the impression that if you bought it through GW it was account bound, so not sure if that would work anymore.

Is it possible to buy a code for the expansion and send it to a friend in New Zealand? Are the codes region specific? I wanted to get it done today so she could get a character slot.

I was using WinAuth for my 2-step Authentication. I had to reinstall everything due to a computer malfunction, and now I can’t get my code, nor can I disable the authentication from my account on the GW2 website. I don’t know what else to do! Any help would be appreciated!

We old players get the shaft. Newcomers pay 50 for the base game + the expansion, and veterans just get the expansion for the same price? Not even a char slot? Kind of a slap in the face.
