Try setting the game to “Windowed Fullscreen” it fixed the issue for me

I was finally able to log into the game, only after I set the game to “Windowed Fullscreen”

I have no idea why this is, as I’ve been using fullscreen for over a year on this computer with no issue.

I’m bummed nobody else responded. I’m experiencing the same thing and can’t even get into the game

Game ran fine until recently. After selecting a character, the map loading screen displays, but when it attempts to display my character in the game, the screen goes black and it repeatedly flickers between the black screen & desktop really fast, about 3 flickers per second.

I cannot ALT-F4 or close GW2 in any way. CTRLALTDEL works, but as soon as I click onto “Task Manager” it goes back to the flickering screen, and it loses control again. I am forced to force a computer shut-off by holding the power button.

I have re-installed the game, but the same issue persists.

No crash log has been generated, which really baffles me!

Any help?

Am I the only one who thought this “bug” was an intended change? I’ve been crafting hundreds/thousands of items per day for awhile, and all of the sudden I get EXP from it. I figured “Yay they are rewarding crafters now!” Then the news came out it’s a bug. I’d like to know how I can prevent any discipline ? I’ve heard of people getting banned before in the past for using bugs… but mass-production crafting is one of the ways I gain money in this game … how was I supposed to know ? :

PLEASE make this happen! I would love for this to happen!

Option 1 — Select in Options Menu which quality of items you want to display a confirmation box for.

Option 2 — Hold shift to override confirmation box.

Both options would be equally as amazing~!
