So I finally got my account restored. For any of you that got you’re account restored-u?nbloc email but you are still having trouble logging in due to the error Trial period has expired. Just update you’re ticket telling them your getting the message and they will eventually give you a temp password to just log in. You will not hace to recover you’re account first. DO NOT open a new ticket. Keep replying to you’re same ticket. Hope that helps. Also if you’re account has been banned for “botting”. Make sure you include this info in your ticket. This help me and it took about 48 hrs to restore.

I think it usually takes them 3-5 days to respond. However, there are some cases when they respond quicker to tickets.

I was in Kessex Hills heading toward the bridge when my screen went black. Thought it was a pc issue so I closed out of the game and re opened it and got the message for botting, unattended play, macro using, blah, blah blah. Daily I would just jump into the zerg mix and do the events over and over. It was fun to me and recieved easy xp and karma. So just because I do events over and over that YOU implemented into the game that YOU have not fixed I am automatically a BOT! I revive people, mine, kill random monsters to go towards my daily ( also zone back to Queensdale to hit my diffrent mob kills or whatever it’s called, I forget) . I’m pretty sure bots don’t do all that. Also I would use YOUR AUTO ATTACK feature so I could run to the bathroom or do something else while attacking the monsters particularly the Overlord. It has been over 24 plus hours since I was banned but nonetheless I am very upset with this because I enjoy playing this game and you took that away from me. You have left a very bad taste in my mouth and you need to make this right.

To me it just seems like anet doesn’t care. Or maybe i’d even go as far as to accuse them of purposefully doing this. Some stupid people will still continue to buy guild wars 2 accounts just so they can keep playing a good game. But personally I’m more than just annoyed at this. I honestly don’t believe anet cares even in the least about any of this.
I’ve been waiting for several days too and they still havent replied past the “Permanently Suspended” part. Maybe its time to sue? But then again, you can’t sue a company like this, because they’ll always get away scott free.

Thank you, ANet and NCsoft, for ruining the last bit of hope I’ve had for gaming companies and especially support these days. Thank you very much.

It would be difficult for you to sue as an individual, but as a community of people “Class Action” we can win. This is a blatant violation of the agreement and they have the obligation to prove the reasons each of us have been terminated.

PAY ATTENTION OVERSEERS, look into the people who purchase your product and realize this isn’t the market to tick off. we are intelligent, nerds who are serious about gaming. For some of us it isn’t just a hobby but a major part of our life, and we can and we will ban together if need be. FIX IT!

If i recall correctly there is a paragraph basically saying “We can suspent any account at any time without any reason or any explanation”. Ive seen paragraphs like that since there are MMORPGs.

Even if they do place that in the “agreement” further clarifications do not permit them to do such. The contractual agreement does not allow for them to willfully terminate and I did not see such a paragraph.

And as a consumer driven media, doing such creates bad rapport in the gaming and MMO world.

They truly must fix this HUGE failure in their system. BOTTING IS BAD, GAMING IS NOT!

I am posting on behalf of my husband, whom I watch play Guild Wars 2. Upon realization of his terminated account we have done a bit of research.

Having your account wrongfully terminated, without being provided the opportunity to prove your legitimacy (such as a whisper or a sound to request if the person is real) is not only violating you as a consumer, but it is a violation of the contractual agreement made between you (the customer) and NCSOFT upon the purchase of the game. They cannot terminate as they see fit, but must actually provide some record or proof as to why they have made the determination that results in your account being terminated. Without such, incurred losses such as time, pleasure and financial are subject to legal ramifications and if it continues NCSOFT is opening themselves up to a class action lawsuit.
I hope the overseers, whoever they may be, will correct this violation of the contract and provide customers the opportunity to prove their legitimacy without their account being terminated wrongfully and such losses being incurred.

Need help on where to buy armor set upgrades?

I am a level 23 Norn Warrior (Main). What area/vendor should I visit to upgrade my armor? I am finding armor here and there off mobs/chest/ map completion but I want a nice set for my level. I have Should I craft, use karma points or am I too low level for this? Any recomendations would be helpful. I have 5300 Karma.

Also should I just try and save up and buy when I get closer to 80? Sorry for the Noob question but still fairly new to the game. Hope that makes sense.
