Guild Wars 2

Since Wintersday update/download I have been getting random DCs and lag spikes.

Anyone else had the same ?? Before the download everything was really good.

Also the Ice Shield in the Jormag event was hard to target and appeared to be underground.

I have reset everything and it still happens. Going to have a break for today, hope it will be better tomorrow.

Hope this is not going to happen with every new event !!!

Game is NOT going downhill !!!
Game has NOT changed, game is still awesome.
But I have changed, 2 lvl 80s, and no motivation to make another.

For me at lvl 80 there is nothing that is fun anymore.
Dont want to continually run dungeons, farming mats is too hard with the huge number of mobs near the nodes.

Legendary ?? Feel that it will be a whole lot of effort for ‘geewiz I have a legendary, what now’.

Game was great while it lasted, dont know how much longer I will play though.

Here is another reason why I am quitting this game.

I gathered all the materials to make 4 exotic weapons, I put them in the forge, because that is what I read has a chance to make the base for a legendary.

I got 1 exotic out, essentially 4 good weapons became 1 with similar stats. TOTAL WASTE

Yes I know its random, but why did you design it this way Arena, I am not going to go through this again, collecting all the stuff, just to have it happen again.

The definition of stupid is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

The forge is like most of the other design in this game, it removes value, it removes gold from the economy.

Please someone post something good about the Mystic Forge. I have nothing.

Is GW2 a fun game ??

In the beginning it was, lots of places to explore, 80 levels to achieve, world map completion, world v world, PVP, dungeons, crafting, the list goes on.

But now at level 80, 2 crafting professions at 400, world map complete, hmm what now, make a legendary weapon ?? Well, I read up on what I needed, began to collect what I needed, try to increase my gold coins to buy the two recipes and icy runes stones I needed and then all of the rest …….

Sadly I don’t think I will ever get a legendary, the game has lost me, just too much that I find annoying and not fun anymore. I need ancient wood and the orichalcum ore, but how much of that can I run around and collect every day, and the node locations change every reset. I could buy it of TP but then I would run down my coins and not have enough to buy the other stuff I can only buy with gold coins …. btw I find making any coins tough going.

ArenaNet no doubt have their reasons for how they have designed the game, but for me the fun has gone. With one character I have seen everything, explored everywhere, running another one to 80 does not seem worth it. So my time is over, maybe, I just dont enjoy it anymore.

But, the first couple of weeks was excellent. I will have a break for a while and see later.
