Guild Hall or player housing? Hmm …
I like it both ways !
That would be a great idea!
On what post did you guys discuss?
Found it.
I know and feel what you just said … 17 hours ago.
Long have we suffered under the oppressive rule of baggy clothing and shady looking hats that don’t really feel Charr – friendly.
Medium Armor should not make you look like a clown that does not fit in his on cloths.
A Charr would look better in some SM leather compared to the existing ones, in fact they should be only SM type medium armor for Charr.

A suggestion from people that want to hold on to a Guild Base more then 5-10 minutes and not necessarily lose it due to a restart each week.

Guild House
-
-
„How could it work?”
1. Have a limited number of Guild Houses per realm (5 would be a start but not that limited).
-The top 5 guilds (rating by merits acquired per week) would have the possibility of buying them
-Guild can only keep there Guild House if they can maintain there position in the top 5 and if they can pay weekly rent
2. Guild Houses could be situated on different maps or on the same one with a plaza or a small PVP arena in the middle.
-Entrance to the Guild House map could be done by Asura gate and WP
-The map could be a floating island situated somewhere in the world
-The map should be accessible by guild members and non-guild members
3. Guilds could custom modify there Guild Houses by using money, influence and resources found in the world or item shop.
-Customization could include house structure and aspect, furniture, etc.
-Customizations will remain even after the house has changed owners(guilds)
-Modifications to an existing customization will have a higher price
4. Rent and revenues – “How would a Guild be able to pay for upgrades and rent?”
-Taxing Special vendors that sell guild related items: a cap with a guild emblem, a T-shirt with a guild emblem, hand-held balloons with a guild emblem, stick-figures with a guild emblem, fireworks that explode in a guild emblem shape, a miniature you that walks around while holding in his hands a sign with … you guest it a guild emblem, a giant chicken costume with a guild emblem (other animal costumes are also welcomed ), etc.
-All non-members will pay a small fee for entry to the Guild House as tourist (guild members could also pay a smaller fee if guild politics allow it)
-Different events and small pvp matches/tournaments may take place offering money and items paid by the guilds that organized the events (non-members can also participate but pay a larger entry fee).
-Events are announced by a pop-up window once you enter the area or when they start (they will be programed by guilds and take place automatically at a certain hour)
-Many other social and economical benefits my be added if there is room.
(Issues my appear with realm transfers)

There is a globe drawn on the floor of the Durmand Priory entrance.
1 TENGU
2 Kodan
3 Giant Chicken-man (don’t judge me)
