Thank you all for the advice
What weapons are you using now? What kind of combat do you enjoy on other characters?
There are fun, and none glassy, options for most weapons in both gamemodes. I’d say “anything” that will work for WvW will work in PvE. You won’t be maxing out in PvE with your WvW build, but you will be more than effective regardless.
I’m using P/D condi build right now. It packs a punch and i have good survivability, but i think it can be improved. I don’t necessarily want a condi build though, just a solid build for mostly PvE.
I just reached level 80 on my thief. I’m mostly a PvE player, but i also enjoy WvW.
I would like some advice in playing a fun build that is good at both. I don’t like glass cannon builds, but if it’s the only way i will consider it.

Although it’s not possible, i do miss that amount of skills to play around with… every class now has like 10 standard good builds. In guild wars 1 you always had to wait and see what your enemy was using and adept to that and counter those skills.
Graveyard
Summon 5 bone minions (skin from gw1). Each minion will have a speed buff of 15% and dies after 60 (or 30 if the skill is OP) seconds or when killed by a enemy.
Cast: 3 Seconds
Cooldown: 180 SecondsExactly, what should 5 bone minions do to your opponent?
They would attack the enemy you targeted. If you have all the other minions equipped on your skillbar you have quite a army. And with bone minions i mean the ones from Guild Wars 1, the bone horror’s. They are much stronger.

I really loved playing around with diffrent skill combinations in guild wars 1, especially the necromancer’s skills. There were just so many to choose from.
Now my question to you is wich Guild Wars 1 skill(s) from the necromancer would you like in Guild Wars 2 ?
I would love to see some kind of skills similar to Consume Corpse or Insidious Parasite.

This is the end of a chain of events.
We finally kill him!
Didn’t put much work into this, but it turned out pretty cool. Big inspiration from the minecraft acid trip video. Enjoy the ride.
These are my current Necro weapons. Exotic, but used Fine Transmutation stones with the pirate skins from lions arch.
My lvl 80 Necro, fully exotic, but changed it with fine transmutation stone to dry bone armor.
Hello, i’m really lost, i want to put out as much damage as possible but also survivability. So far i’ve been playing, a mix of [power, vit, condition dmg] Armor, [power, precision, condition] Jewelry, [condition dmg, toughness] Runes and 10/30/30/0/0 on my traits.
I’ve been wondering for days what to change, or if i should stick to this and upgrade it to exotic.
So my question is what is stronger, crit or condition dmg ?
(sorry for my english)
Just a suggestion, and ofcourse the loot and xp will change depending on wich option you choose.
What do you think about it ?
