Hello, my name is Veynor in game. I am currently a lieutenant in my guild, Infinite Desire [iDes] in charge of scouting out new members. We are a Blackgate [BG] Guild. We are currently looking for guilds who wish to merge with us, however we are also recruiting individuals to our group. iDes was originally a small tight knit group mainly focused on high difficulty dungeons and WvW. With our recent expansion due to the addition of guild missions, we will typically have between 7-15 members on at our peak hours; peak hours for us are roughly between 3PM-3AM as we have a diverse group of west coast, east coast and canadian players. Most of the senior members have legendaries. I am personally the expert in iDes on economics and the go to guy for running Arah. It is not within my power to invite, but I refer my recruits to the acting head of the guild DKetch.8926

So I’m new to the forum (this is my first post) and to the game as well. I have logged roughly 230 out of my 245 hours playing GW2 over the past 3 and a half weeks on my Warrior. I got this game for Christmas so I apologize if I am unfamiliar with terms or in-game mechanics a head of time.

For 80 levels and up until I got to FotM 20, I used a GS with a shouts build. However, I’d like to switch to something that still can benefit my team with decent damage and good support but with a bit more utility. I liked the GS for kiting, mobility and its burst, but I got melted in huge mobs of trash especially with a lot of CC.

For this reason, I’m trying to make a build for higher dungeons and FotM runs. I have chosen the Axe MH for crits and DPS and a shield for the block and stun. I run a 20/20/25/0/0 build with melandru karma equips, superior pack runes and valkyrie trinkets. I am using the shield traits as well as unsuspecting foe, axe mastery and rending strikes. I also threw on restorative strength cause I hate being stuck and I didnt take turtles defense. If it matters, I’ve been using SiO, FGJ, OMM, Mending and Rage Signet

I would greatly appreciate any feedback on what I could do to better support my team without sacrificing too much DPS. Thanks in advance
