We took him from phase 2 directly back into phase 2 before the stun wore off. This is precisely why people need to put in effort to learn the fight instead of just saying it’s too hard.
One of the main issues is there’s always new items to grind endlessly for, but it doesn’t drop from new content. They just add it to the drop tables of things we’ve done a thousand times before. Also, I don’t need the increased item stats to grind the old content I’ve already beaten, so why am I even bothering?
There’s just no purpose or fun in any of it.
The biggest misconception about legendaries is that they even remotely deserve to be called legendary.
The other materials for legendaries aren’t hard to get anymore. I farmed over 700,000 karma before ANet added in jugs of karma, now I have too much karma and everyone who didn’t farm at all already has enough to craft their legendary. Fact is, the legendary combines are all incredibly bland concepts with no lore or history behind any of it. It’s boring. And then to top it off, people who don’t put in the effort are completing them simply via RNG.
It’s a load of bull. RNG isn’t fun and it never will be. No one likes RNG.
The “young” karka has a skill that shoots projectiles, I’m using full exotic light armor and I take about 1500 dmg every hit, and it shoots about 6~8 times in 2 seconds, so I lose almost all my HP if I don’t dodge in time, which is hard because this attack is unpredictable, I don’t believe I can win against 2 “young” Karka’s atm.
I just don’t get it. I see people running around getting destroyed by these mobs when they only have one big attack, and it’s extremely obvious when they’re going to fire it. Even if you get hit with the first couple of shots, you’re still alive and now you’ve had more than enough time to dodge roll the rest. There’s also abilities that some classes have to avoid these, and if you have reflect the Karka literally kills itself almost instantly.
But hey, lets all go to the forums and request that they be nerfed because no one can just dodge roll once per fight. It’s gotta all be boring faceroll content.
They need to, at least, ditch the minimum ~2s fee for teleporting. It can still scale up to 3.5s or whatever for teleporting across the world, but moving 2 feet to my right should start at 1c and work its way up with distance.
There’s nothing wrong with suggesting he bring a friend. These zones are different from the rest of the game and have much tougher enemies and events. It’s fine that it’s like that. As your gear progresses and you start getting into rares and exotics, the creatures in these zones become easy to deal with. There’s no need to nerf the tiny section of the game that isn’t insanely easy to deal with.
This started a few patches ago and happens constantly. It’s an absolutely terrible bug as the humming is very loud and doesn’t stop until you shut off the game completely. I’m running a HT Claro sound card.
Also, yes, this happens most often in WvW. It also occurs frequently in cursed shore for me. I’ve never had it happen in a dungeon yet.
