Huh… I really haven’t played the game much since HoT was released. One-off occasions the past year. Pvp most of those times. I skimmed the thread so someone might’ve already suggested this, but I really did wish Anet had let the “legacy” players who bought the main game have access to the DLC class and specializations, or at least just the specializations for the core classes, for pvp. It seems like the vast majority of “legacy” players bought HoT though, so I guess it’d just be pandering to a very small minority…
I mean if eles are THAT good, that op, I gotta wonder why we never see 5 ele teams in the tournaments as well. I mean if they really have not a single counter, they never die, get pulled off point, it’d just be counter-productive and silly not to use 5 eles. amirite?
I’m thinking torch or pistol probably. But a staff would be cool. Monk class
Hello people!
8.5/10 I like the first pic =)
I think condi staff will work actually if you use perplexity runes. In a small group I’m sure it’d do fine. I always roam with my staff, using supporty gear. Running around with 25k hp, 2600 armor, and supporting my party with cc’s, an occasional heals, jus being a complete nuisance ^^ Staff has plenty of interupts and a few damaging condi spells, so it might be worth giving a try.
Im heterosexual, and my MMO characters are almost always females.
Females usually have the sexiest looking armor and tbh,
if i am going to spend long hours looking at a character’s behind,
it might as well be a female’s behind.I’ve heard this argument with some frequency, and part of me dies every time.
It shouldn’t. It’s perfectly natural. Males are genetically programmed to be attracted to healthy female characteristics (unhealthy females tended to die during childbirth in past ages, so genes to ignore how a female looks got selected out). Just like females are genetically programmed to be attracted to males who are capable of protecting (strength) and providing for (wealth) a family. Nothing sexist about it. Those are just the traits which yielded a greater chance of survival of the offspring.
OTOH, if they treat you as if you’re nothing more than your physical or financial characteristics, that’s sexist.
Oh my… You’ve never taken a genetics course have you….. with that said, the females in this game do look prettier than most compared to other games, so it’s appealing to a lot of ppl I think. Whenever I make a char, I usually go by a stereotype, or semi-RP role. Like with elementalists, I went with a human female, having played diablo 2 a lot, so it seemed like the natural thing to do.
Yeah it works fine for me.
Before the patch, you were able to replace weapon skins without using a transmutation charge. Is this still possible? I did a quick search through the new pvp menu, and couldn’t find a way to change them without using a transmutation charge.
Will you be releasing another video after the April 15th update? Considering the changes to crit. I’m wondering if it’d affect a build like this.
Hi, basically the topic title. I’m in Tarnished Coast and was wondering if there were any guilds that focused on playing mainly elementalists, or helping out others who use them and such. I played during release, and picked the game up a few months ago. I’m up for completely casual, or slightly hardcore guilds, though at this time with finals coming up, I wouldn’t be able to log on for long hours.
