You wanna be better with your mesmer? Than do some sPvP it will help out alot.

So I am looking for a Ranger Build that be great for PvE and WvW. My Ranger is only Currently 11 and I love her despite all the flames I see in the forums about how rangers aren’t that good. I tried Ele ,Guardian and thief, but Rangers seems to strike me the most. So it be my next lvl 80!!!

So any tips and tricks, or links to other post will be helpful.
I want to be able to play range but also be able to play close if I have to.
I am more of a Aggressive Offensive player(can be reckless at times) but I like to have defense so I can get away or get distance from my enemy. so I think imma need a Power/Perc/Crit mixed in with sum toughness?
I am also seeing alot of Rangers with GS now whats sup with that?

I run a 10/30/0/0/30 Build and absolute love it because it fits my playstyle since I use sword/pistol as my main because I am a very offensive player and I use my staff for the defense. I used to use GS (and I do miss it at times) but Staff have saved me SOO many times!!

But I am going to try a Power/Condition setup soon as I I finish my armor set for it to see how that works out

I understand what you mean completely! I am always trying to look different!

So what you want to do..is just find pieces that you like that work well together..and get them transmuted to the stats you need.

My Mesmer have a lvl 20 coat transmuted to my lvl 80 stats.
but it goes well with my outfit

So mix and match and come up with your own look!

Im all about fashion..and my Mesmer gotta be looking good

I find Charr Mesmers a bit Awkward tbh

I was using it in till I noticed the bug..But now I think I might re-trait back into it!

Was going to post about the same issue.

When I was leveling with my Mesmer to 80 I used a Phantasm Build. I had no problems getting to 80 or taking on multiple mobs at a time.

loving ur build and style!!! i went 10/20/10/0/30 to see how it goes…..I think I just need to get my gear up to be on par with you and shattercat style

I am trying to use Staff atm..But I have been using GS for SOOOO long..So when I do PvP using the Staff it just doesn’t feel right! I think I need more practice with it also. I Like being able to use GS#5 when a enemy is trying to close the gap on my ally or use it to save my ally from getting stomped..I think that’s the Number ONE reason its hard to give up..that and tha direct dmg.

I see names like that all the time..it’s very common, but overall I do like it. It has a nice ring to it.

Hi all.

I been playing my mesmer for a while now and just hit 80!! So I am looking for my end game spec still. which I think will be GS- sword/pistol.. Im thinking of changing sword for specter and thats because I hate that swap clock and I gotta wait 6secs and cant do damage. but the specter has no combos and I like the sword leap combo that gives me chaos Storm..

Im going for a Phantasm Build if you can tell..I kinda wanna do a Power/condition because of the bleeds and confusion if i decide to go specter. But this is what I have so far.
I was using Duelist Discipline at first but realize that lowers the damage and thats no good for PvP WvW lol..
