It wouldn’t be too hard to reimburse people for having multiple dyes, all they would have to do is count copies from multiple accounts and add any excess dyes in their consumable form back to the inventory of the player, probably in the form of mail messages to avoid crowding inventory :P It could be done the same way they wrote the code for the wallet, in a roundabout way.
However their reasoning for not allowing account dyes has been stated: Anet said that it was part of the feeling of progress with a character to have each one need its own dyes. Which is odd, because I can farm for dungeon tokens and effectively buy skins for my other characters with my only level 80. So I completely agree with you.

I suppose that makes sense, but they’re still making a large profit. I could understand if it was required and out of their hands due to some agreement, but I really don’t think they should have much to worry about from a simple $5 option

Never had that issue before. It always came out that expensive anyway, back when I had money.

I’d just like to point out that as a relatively new generation friendly MMO, you have a decent price tag on your gems…I was wondering why there is no $5 option for purchasing gems in the TP. I would enjoy that very much, as I’d love to support this game, but I have very little in the way of extra cash. 5 bucks a month shouldn’t be that terrible! Not to mention all the high schoolers who play this with their measly or even nonexistant allowance who’d like a chance to shop. I think we can all agree that this a is a small thing to ask for, considering the profits we could all make.

Botting is always an issue in MMO’s, and this would only make that easier. The semi autoloot, in my opinion, forces you to play at least semi attentively.

Ah. So I’m guessing 2 per strike on the Shatterer isn’t enough to warrant a reward, is it?

So I was playing a level 5 mesmer, and I decided to make a run for the Shatterer event. I made it before it spawned, did meager damage to it, but at the end I received no medal, no exp, and no chest. First time I had done it with any character today, so I was slightly confused. Can underleveled characters not receive exp from events in higher level areas? I have looked for an answer, but could not find one. Any help with this would be appreciated

Really wanting an asian style armor set. Any ideas?

Joined a group today after the 2nd patch that had gotten to the first boss. When the option to join them in explore mode popped up, instead of transporting me inside the dungeon, I receive an error: “The game client cannot gain access to the login server at this time” Is this a bug, or can I not join people after a certain point…?

Or you could just enforce borders; only characters of a certain level are able to enter certain areas.

I will now, but I wish I didn’t have to.

Today I decided to try my luck in the mystic forge with dyes, so I went to the trading post to buy some cheap dyes in bulk, around 20 of four different types, one for each mystic forge slot. However, when I had selected the amount of dye I wished to buy, and hit the “buy” button, the Sorry message popped up. Thinking this was some sort of error, I reloaded the trading post and hit buy again. About a minute later, my original order came through, and then the second attempt did as well, giving me more than I needed, and draining me of my finances. This happened twice, stealing around 1.5 gold. I realize that getting my money back may be asking too much, but at least looking into this bug would be nice.
I’m relatively new to this game, but I’ve played it non stop all week, and I’ve noticed a plethora of UI problems. I want this game to continue to succeed, as my friends and I have had a lot of fun with it, but losing all of my hard earned money because of a bug is a huge issue. It may not seem like a lot, but it’s about a week’s worth. I don’t feel like having to earn it again constantly if this bug is allowed to wreak havoc.
