It still applies daze, so it can fulfill the same role if you want.
Besides, was just an idea, and extremely unlikely at that.
Edit: I actually really like that idea, naphack. It gets more dangerous as the chain continues, and if you miss the last hit, there was still some weaken there.

I think we can combine Fellyn’s and Parktou’s ideas.
Instead of Pommel Bash, we have a leap (let’s call it Thundering Crash, or something) in which the warrior flies toward a target with an animation reminiscent of Thor ( maybe even with lightning particles) and applies a daze on the target.
I agree with the idea of more ways to use adrenaline, but as it is now, you can use your burst skill at 1/3 or 2/3 adrenaline. There is also the Burst Mastery (Disc XI) trait, which lessens the amount of adrenaline that you lose when you use a burst skill and lowers the cooldown.
I think a better way to do it would be to give us more ways to spend our adrenaline. Instead of having one singular skill that we push once and is on cooldown, warriors should have f1, f2, f3, that each do something different.
Every other class has multiple options with their equivalents: Atunement, Shatters, Pet managing, Death shroud abilities, Virtues, Elixirs. Even the Thief can choose what ability he gets from stealing by choosing who to steal from. But warriors only have one burst skill per weapon.
I’m picturing F1 skill staying primarily damage and conditions, F2 giving some sort of boon or debuffed enemies, and F3 helping us escape or healed. This would add a lot more depth to the adrenaline system as we would have to choose how to spend it and manage the cooldowns of them.
